I have seen girls wearing head scarves and I'm sure many wear them to public schools. Incidentally, the act that banned head scarves in France attempted to be equally enforced so it banned all "conspicuous religious symbols" including 'Jewish headcoverings, large crucifixes, and other visible signs of faith'. Yes, we are a nation of immigrants but by in large all immigrant populations have adapted to the culture of this country. In the UK, a large percentage of muslims want a separate Sharia law. Some blatantly call for terrorist attacks against their own country and have been allowed to get away with it. That's what I'm talking about.
