Muslim Community Supports Houston’s Taliban

More info is being revealed about the two Houston college students who have confessed to treason in attempting to support and join the Taliban, with a goal of killing US Soldiers.

I noted this interesting tidbit from the most recent story in the Houston Chronicle:

Qazi’s brother, Ali Qazi, said neighbors and members of the Muslim community have called the family with their sympathies and have been supportive.

Sympathies and support? Are you kidding me? This is why I don’t believe the notion of “moderate Muslims” being serious about expelling the rapidly growing cult of radical Islam from their midst.

Instead of symphathy and support, what they as a community should be showing is outrage and condemnation. The sad truth is that most American Muslims consider themselves Muslim first, and American no-better than second.

Robbie, it sounds to me that you are an individual with no balls yourself. One has to love their country then why do not you go and fight for your country or have any of your family members fight. You do not have all the facts togehter and when you do it will be too late as you might be dead by then.

It is very intellectual for one to understand the whole story. Poor Job. However, keep up the awful efforts.

Except if you had bothered to look around a bit (or even just read the About Me page), you’d know that I am a combat decorated former US Army Combat Medic/current disabled Veteran.

That entire tired “ChickenHawk” meme doesn’t work on any level — it’s an intellectually lazy argument regardless of who and where you fling it. It works even less so when you fling it at a guy who’s actually dropped everything in his life to put on a uniform, pick up a weapon, and defend your ungrateful, self-entitled, pathetic excuse for a man self.

Your email address (kuwaitis@not-the-real-domain.com)and your poor command of English indicates that you are either of Kuwaiti decent or actually live in Kuwait. Nice country. I was there in 1991.

As part of the US Army 1st Infantry Division, I helped liberate Kuwait City from the Iraqi army. You’re welcome.
