Woman to Cop: “I was sold bad crack.”
Smoking crack makes you do stupid things:
PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. — A North Carolina woman was arrested on Friday night after complaining to Putnam County deputy about the quality of the crack cocaine she had purchased.
Eloise D. Reaves, 50, walked up to Deputy Jeffery Pedrick at about 11:30 p.m. while he was working a call at a convenience store located at the corner of state Road 20 and state Road 21 in the Hawthorne area of Putnam County.
According to police, Reaves told the deputy that a man in the parking lot had sold her bad crack. They said Reaves then took the crack from out of her mouth and placed it on the trunk of the deputy’s patrol car.
Pedrick informed Reaves that if the substance tested positive for cocaine, she would be arrested. When the test came back positive, Reaves complained that it was wax and cocaine mixed, and that she wanted the deputy to make the man give her her money back.
Reaves was arrested and booked into the Putnam County Jail and held on $1,504 bond, on which she was later released.
So there’s such a thing as good crack then?
This is really ridiculous. Do you know what this woman went through in her life to post this on your website? Having a still born child at 17 becoming pregnant at 18 and losing it 6 months later to SIDS. Having another child at 23 who would grow up to hate her. Getting a divorce from a man she loved because he slept with her cousin. Then getting involved with a man who beat her, havin another child 11 years after the 3rd one, havin to run from the man who beat her to get into another relationship where she was not only beaten but she watched helplessly as her children were molested? Then to get away from him to keep her children moved constantly between NC and FL to keep her children safe? She was a good person with a horrible addiction.
She died on 16 August 2007 of Cirrohis of the Liver…she suffered for 4 months when she slipped into a coma and when the doctors said that this time she would not come back she lived 19 hours after her own daughters pulled the plug on her.
Her 2 grandchildren will never know how much she loved them. She will never get to see her youngest daughter graduate from high school or join the military or marry or have more grandchildren..But she will know how much she will be missed because as I sit here writing this I am crying for my mother who had a hard life but did what she could for me her youngest daughter. Do not judge those you do not know because in return god will judge you. RIP Momma Lee…You will always be missed by me. She will be 52 on March 19th.
