Quote of the Day

From Liz Cheney in the Washington Post:

Sen. Hillary Clinton declared this weekend, ” I’m in to win.” Anyone who has watched her remarkable trajectory can have no doubt that she’ll do whatever it takes to win the presidency. I wish she felt the same way about the war.

If only that were true of the entire Democratic party (and an increasing number of playing-it-by-the-polls RINOs).

  2. White trash talking, and I’m sure the BushCo. wrote it. Give me the same platform to express my views!

  3. The daughter of the VP seems to think that the brain-washed Republicans are unpatriotic, uncaring of the troops that are being slaughtered in Iraq. What is clear is that most of Congress cares more about the troops and less about the legacy of President Bush. It is their concern for the young men and women in the military that brings their comments against the illogical plan that this Administration has proposed. Sadly, we hear the tired, overused phrases…”if you are not with us, you are with the terrorists”. Does anyone actually believe that now?? Certainly I do not agree with Ms. Cheney.

  4. That is the scary part…that she’ll do whatever it takes to win. There is no law she won’t break if she thinks it’ll help her reach the top.

  5. Bambi-Bingo, you it it on the head, George Bush and his madministration care first and foremost about his legacy, not the troops, not America, not the people, all of that comes in a distant second, third, and fourth at best. The only thing I differ with you is, I seriously doubt the Congress is any more high-minded.

  6. It’s embarrassing for the Washington Post that they will print an editorial that can’t even make the distinction between Sunni al
    Qaeda and majority Shia Iraq.

    Nepotism at work.
