John Kerry has Become Our Nation’s Greatest Pariah

Posted by Robbie Cooper on January 27th, 2007 | Trackback

This shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone. John Kerry has been giving aid and comfort to the enemies of the United States since the Vietnam War.

Godspeed, Cpt. Sean Lyerly of Austin, TX

In his State of the Union address this week, President Bush said, “The greatest strength we have [as a Nation] is the heroic kindness, courage, and self-sacrifice of the American people.” — And no where is this strength better exemplified then by the ultimate sacrifice that Cpt. Lyerly and his loved ones have endured on our behalf.

This is one of the funniest things I’ve seen on YouTube in quite sometime. But there might be more to it then what you see in the video.

A Pledge Not to Support RINO Senators

The ‘non-binding resolution’ is exactly the type of political grandstanding I expect of Democrats. The RINOs who join them are showing that they’re more concerned with their own political career than the welfare of our troops and the defense of our nation. I hope every last one of them loses their next Senatorial race, and is never reelected to another office at any level.

Wolf Blitzer Crosses the Line from Reporter to Ass

Posted by Robbie Cooper on January 25th, 2007 | Trackback

There’s a fine line of decencey in regards to dragging a politician’s children into the fray. Blitzer crossed that line and went from reporter to asshole.

General Patraeus: “That’s correct, sir.”

You can argue whether or not these resolutions harm the moral of the troops (they do). But there’s no way that you can argue that this doesn’t “comfort the enemy”. Any talk from our Senators and Congressmen about pulling out of Iraq, decreasing the number of troops, or handcuffing our troops ability to engage the enemy definitely brings them comfort.

The Web Celeb 25

Without looking at their “claim to fame”, I only knew who 10 of the top 25 are (numbers 2–8, 13, 19, and 20). After seeing what each was famous for, I still didn’t know who 11 of them were.

SOTU Address: Favorite Moments

We are the most giving and benevolent nation on this planet, and we have done more to advance the welfare of this planet’s citizens than any other nation ever has.

I have an “alternative” to detention: deportation. Immediate deportation. If you are here illegally, then you and your family must go back to Mexico. I don’t even care if you’re not from Mexico — that’s where we’re sending you, since that’s probably where you entered into our country illegally. You can get back to Honduras or Nicaragua on your own from there (or, more than likely, just sneak back across the next day).

Live Blogging the SOTU Address

Going to try and live blog this. We’ll see how it goes. The last time I live blogged an event was the Tookie Williams execution. I hope this goes better for President Bush than it did for Tooki.

News of the Weird

Well, that’s reassuring. The last time I was in Tijuana (August of 2005), that place was scary enough…really, almost bordering on third-world poverty and despair (except for the influx of US dollars from the steady stream of US tourists coming across the border for cheap cigarettes, booze, pills, and ummm…”entertainment”).

Quote of the Day

If only that were true of the entire Democratic party (and an increasing number of playing-it-by-the-polls RINOs).

In case you missed it on Saturday Night Live this weekend (and, judging from their ratings, most of you missed it) here’s the Chris Matthews interview with Hillary Rodham Clinton on “Hard Ball”
