Looks again like the Liberals are looking to "excuse" the vile behavior of their beloved NY Times. I think it is now time for we "the silent majority" to do all that we can to ensure the newspaper loses as many subscribes as we can. It's time for the silent majority (who know and understand we are in danger) start letting OUR voices be heard. SUPPORT OUR TROOPS ! All of you left wing socialist progressives who always "blame America first" should move to the Mid-East and see how long you live if you simply try to express your opinions there. They will cut your tongues out ! This is a free society and we DO have free speech. However; you folks should also remember your voices are heard by our enemies and only serve to embolden them. Hence; we lose even more of our brave soldiers. Give it a break and be glad you are blessed to live in the United States.

That’s an insane remark. Hundred of thousands are dying because of Islamofascist terrorists, not because of our elected officials.

Well, there is a civil war between Sunnis and Shia- which side are the Islamofascist terrorists again?

In addition to that violence the US has dropped thousands and thousands of bombs. I think an estimate of one accidental civilian death per 500 lb. bomb is pretty conservative.

To be clear, I don't want to see dead Americans or dead Iraqis on my television. But I want this to happen by not having dead Americans not by simply put our hands over our eyes.

The reporters were wrong according to the rules, but more than that, they put their greed for getting the story over the life of the dying soldier and respect for the family. There is no moment more personal to a family and their disgusting behavior cannot be excused.

I posted but of course it disappeared. I want those reporters kicked out of Iraq. NYT reporters should no longer be allowed to be embedded. The only "uninformed citizenry" are those who rely on the NYT as a news source.

The reporters who did this should be kicked out of Iraq. NYT should no longer be allowed to be embedded. If I was the military, I would shun the NYT.

We have the most uninformed citizenry in the world when it comes to what our nation does abroad.

Only those who rely on the NYT for their news.

Sorry it's a bullshit rule. Hundreds of thousands are dying because of our elected officials yet the electorate will never see what is done in their names. We have the most uninformed citizenry in the world when it comes to what our nation does abroad.

Remember, of course, this rule was never applied to the endless video loop of an airline crashing into the South Tower of the World Trade Center, instantly ending the lives of a hundred and leading to the death of a thousand more.
