The 5th Annual Star of Texas Tattoo Art Revival is this weekend here in Austin — since the weather is supposed to turn to shit this weekend (rain, sleet, freezing temps), this sounds like something fun (and warm and dry) to do, as I probably won’t get out and ride any this weekend.
I only have one tattoo right now, which I got about 12 years ago, but I’ve long been considering doing a pair of Japanese Koi half-arm sleeves — something very similary to the one in this photo.
Maybe I can get some good ideas this weekend, maybe even find an artist.

How about a pair of pink toe shoes with the words inscribed below: Plie or Die?
You’re kidding, right? It’s ugly!!!
Any med school student today would be wise to go into reconstructive plastic surgery…… in about ten years there will be a fortune to be made with all the people who want to get rid of their body art, body modifications and piercings….
Nothing wrong with a discreet tatoo – but when it becomes the first thing that people notice about you, it’s a little too much. And the one you are talking about? Just a little too much.
Just my opinion……
Oh….. and yes, the weather is pretty nasty out there. Temp is dropping fast, too. Been a strange winter – I’ve noticed many trees beginning to bud already. Must be that gosh darned global warming stuff, ya know? Or maybe it’s just an exceptionally warm winter. Seen those before, many times in my life.
It’ll be a good night to watch a football game! Do me a favor and wish my Eagles some luck, okay?
