my motorcycle

This is why I’m not blogging right now.

I’ve pretty much hacked to pieces the wiring harness for my bike’s electrical system while trying to install a new tail light, front passing lights, and front and back LED turn signals.

I’ve got everything wired up, but now I’m troubleshooting (soldering in diodes here, wiring in load equalizers there…). I was working on it most of yesterday, only taking a break to watch the second half of the Super Bowl)…and I’m taking the day off work to finish it (hopefully) today.

In the meantime, go read this excellent and thoughtful post from JC at PeaceMeme: A March, A Ride, A Funeral.

Too bad- the first quarter was the most madcap and exciting quarter of the game.

…and Prince was fantabulous!

Good luck with that, Robbie.

Nice bike. I suppose you’ll have a heck of a time scaring the bejeezus out of soccer moms on that!

Hey, thanks for the plug and the kind words. I think you’ve sent a couple of lively debaters my way!

So, from the looks of your picture and your post, Pirsig must really be inspiring you. Hope you don’t have too many parts left over when you put it all back together again.

Happy trails!

Got something you want to say?
