Fair enough- who knows if the study is accurate and comprehensive.

But I do know for sure that citing one that breaks the law is not a comprehensive analysis.

The article Preston sites (for those who didn't follow the link), is to a questionable study (always ask, "Who conducted the study" before immediately buying it's validity) that claims "Immigrants boost pay, not prison populations".

I wonder if these 400 illegal immigrants helped boost the pay of the local drug dealers?

Of if these 19 illegal aliens helped boost the pay of highway cleaning crews and insurance adjusters?

What do we expect? Here we are the land of opportunity ... by whatever means. Steal someone's identity? They are just doing the work the SS holder won't do. Steal someone's kid? Well, we don't care about our laws, why should they?

Kennedy/McCain working hard on a new senate bill which has weaker enforcement provisions and a quicker and easier path to citizenship for illegal immigrants. McCain will never get my vote despite his former service to our country for he sure as hell doesn't seem to care about protecting it anymore.
