The PDGA Amateur Disc Golf World Doubles Championships are this weekend in Wimberley, TX (about 45 miles SW of Austin) at the Circle R Ranch.

My brother Marty took leave from the Army to be my doubles partner again — we took 6th place in the 2004 Am World Doubles, and 2nd in the 2005 Am World Doubles.

We’re heading out there in a few minutes to get in a practice round on each course (two courses), as my brother has never played either course before. Then there are two rounds on Saturday and two more on Sunday.

After my first week of Fitness Boot Camp, I’m hoping I didn’t burn myself out during the week — we’ll see.

good luck guys.

Thanks, bro. We had a great time — didn’t play that well yesterday, but had much better rounds today.

Wish you lived closer so you could play with us, too.

Got something you want to say?
