John at the Crimson Blog points out the obvious:

If our side made captives wear crosses, the Arab street would run red with blood. Priests would be killed, others would be threatened. It happened last year with the Pope’s reference to Islam. It would happen again now.

He’s referring to the female British Naval hostage taken by Iran (in an overt act of war, which I hope we and the British bomb the hell out of Iran for — but that’s another topic for another post), who was then paraded in front of television cameras (in violation of Genevea Conventions) wearing a white tunic and a black head scarf.

I’m all in favor of taking away their Korans, take away their prayer matts, take away their religious symbols, and their “prayer” time. They are fucking prisoners. Prisoners who would never grant the same respect or diginity to their Christian or Jewish prisoners.

We shouldn’t (and DON’T) torture Muslim prisoners. But that doesn’t mean we should bend over backwards to accomodate them and make them feel (more comfortable than) at home.

Geneva Conventions? Those “quaint” old things? I thought Abu Gonzales had decided they don’t apply anymore.

Hey, hair rays can kill a guy!

The British were recently found guilty of using illegal interrogation methods. We have forced prisoners to wear hoods (something we said we wouldn’t do), wearing a scarf doesn’t sound so bad.

We shouldn’t (and DON’T) torture Muslim prisoners.

G-Bay.

Like David Hicks was tortured at “G-Bay”? After years of the moonbat yapping that:
1. it was taking to long to bring him to trial
2. that he was clinically depressed
3. that he had lost an incredible about of weight
4. that he was pale from lack of sunlight
5. that he had to grow his hair long because the lights in his cell were on 24/7.

The truth:
1. Hicks deliberately was delaying going to trial and wanted it set no earlier than 2008
2. was joking in court
3. he’s fat
4. he’s tan
5. the lights are dimmed so low in his cell at night it’s impossible to read.

I don’t get your point ‘You Better Be Scared of Us’… what is it that you are trying to say?

I think he’s trying to say that because one person shows evidence of not having been tortured, it’s okay that we tortured a bunch of other people, or something like that.

No, I offered proof of what a bunch of liars the left is and continues to be.

Well, thanks for your constructive input. Unfortunately, David Hicks story is hardly a shining example of our conforming to international law.

International law = slap murderers and terrorists on the hand while saying, “we’re sorry.”

How insightful.

Always happy to help a blind person.

Got something you want to say?
