I’ve noted several times, that stories in the Main Stream Media (MSM) on illegal immigration almost always leave out the word illegal in their headlines.

Michelle Malkin plays “Guess the Missing Word” in this Washington Post article on foreclosures:

Foreclosure Wave Bears Down on Immigrants

Immigrants are emerging as among the first victims of a growing wave of home foreclosures in the Washington area as mortgage lending problems multiply locally and across the country.

For those who have been brow-beat into submission by years of pro-illegal immigration activism from the MSM, Michelle offers some hints:

It’s a bad idea to give home loans (and credit cards) to illegals, because when they default, you have no recourse for recouping your loss other than to pass those losses onto your “better-documented” customers.

  1. I skimmed the WaPo article- which person was undocumented?

  2. The WaPo, liberal newspaper, of course would only point out the people who are supposedly legal immigrants when of course the references in Robbie’s post prove that lending institutions are able to lend to illegal immigrants as well. These people are at risk of being deported or being found out and fired and obviously then can’t repay their mortgage. But so what, the rest of us will bear the burden whether we like it or not.

I note with interest the immigrants in the article are usually ripped off by their own.

  3. So in other words, there is nothing in the article that should cause the headline to read “illegal”?

Maybe we better check the papers of the man from Afghanistan who’s been here for 20 years!
