Back in January I wrote about another hottie blonde female teacher who had sexually molested one of her male students.

This woman was charged with sexual assault on a child by one in a position of trust and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

I also wrote:

like Debra LaFave, she’s probably going to go relatively unpunished. Because she’s a hot female teacher. And not some fat old perverted male teacher.

I was right:

Carrie pleaded guilty yesterday to a charge of unlawful sexual contact – a misdemeanor charge and a reduction from the original felony charge of sexual assault on a child by a person in position of trust as well as felony counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and tampering with physical evidence.

The latter charge stemmed from an alleged phone call McCandless made to the victim in the case following a hearing on the other charges. McCandless, through her lawyer, previously denied she contacted the boy.

McCandless will receive a four years deferred sentence and, as a convicted sex offender, will have intensive supervised probation. She also will be required to register as a sex offender but only for 10 years because the sex charge was a misdemeanor. McCandless is not expected to serve any jail time.

McCandless, joined by husband and Brighton Charter School principal, Chris McCandless, was stoic in a Larimer County Courtroom Tuesday as she listened to the judge’s instructions and entered guilty pleas to the charges – offering mainly yes and no answers.

The most shocking part of this story? Not that another female teacher gets off with a slap on the wrist for molesting a male student — but that her husband is still standing by her side. Of course if he was much a man, his wife wouldn’t have been running around with little boys.
