I live in Baton Rouge and go to LSU. Mr. LaPlante taught me Media Writing in Spring 2006 and he was a really great guy. Never mentioned his accomplishments, but if you google him and look at his obituary he was involved in everything and helped others. I was surfing the web and I stumbled across him on wikipedia and subsequently his obituary and I am trying to find anything I can on him.
