BIG shocker here — Rosie O’Donnell is leaving The View.
Allahpundit at Hot Air wonders “did she jump or was she pushed?” To which I respond, “Who cares”? ABC and Rosie will spin this in such a way that Rosie’s bat-shit-insanity isn’t the issue.
Annika (who has announced that she will stop blogging — after a four-year run — in 25 days, after she finishes taking the bar exam) adds:
Rosie is the left’s equivalent of Michael Savage — a loud, bigoted, egotistical, ignorant clown. The only reason Rosie gets away with it on tv and Savage is relegated to after-hours radio is that tv execs agree with Rosie’s bullshit.

I’m actually a bit disappointed. Hate this vile needs to have as much light shined upon it as possible.
I’m guessing we won’t be without Rosie’s idiocy long though. Michelle asks, “Where will she take her big mouth next?”
I’d like to see her do a Mid-East tour of places like Tikrit, Ramadi, Fallujah, Pakistan, Syria, and especially Iran. Without a US Military escort — just Rosie speaking “truth-to-power” to the locals.
Bob Leibowitz suggests that Rosie should replace Katie Couric at CBS News.
Why not? CBS gave up any pretense of being an unbiased and credible news organization during the entire Dan Rather “fake-but-accurate” memo scandal. They might as well make the next logical step in their decent by hiring Rosie as a “news” anchor.
