From Ace:
Dorkafork suggests that the Politico or whatever leftwing outfit or reporter handling the next Democratic debate ask for a “show of hands” as to which candidates have an “open mind” about 9/11 being an American government conspiracy.
A majority of the Left believes that Bush knew about 9/11 beforehand (and many more think he actually had a hand in it), and the Truthers are a large and rapidly growing force on the Left and in the Demcoratic party.
Even The Silk Pony is pandering to these unhinged lunatics.
Ace concludes that “the majority of Americans — including the vital center — [believes] such conspiratorial paranoia is insane, and a Democrat offering support for such a view would be all but unelectable.”
I don’t think the Democratic candidates have anything to worry about though as far as having to answer this question during their next debate. Because it won’t be asked.
But I’d love to see them squirm if it was.

I hope they ask it, because I know you would be proven wrong.
Where do you get the bizarre idea that “A majority of the Left believes that Bush knew about 9/11 beforehand (and many more think he actually had a hand in it)”? First off, you’re logically inconsistent in your own writing - unless you believe that there are “many more” people who believe that Bush had a hand in 9/11 than believe that he knew about it. Second, it’s simply not true that a majority of the Left believes Bush knew about 9/11 specifically beforehand.
Here are a couple bullet points for you.
* A tiny lunatic fringe of the left and right believes that 9/11 was a government conspiracy. It is not the majority anywhere outside of an asylum.
* No candidate would hesitate to disavow those theories.
* Many people believe that Bush was warned that AQ had an attack planned - those people have documentary proof on their side.
