John Edwards: “‘We will be united with the president throughout this war on terrorism”
Well…until it’s no longer politically convenient to do so, anyway.
Contrast that with his current stance that the “war on terrorism” isn’t even a war. Rather it’s merely a “bumper sticker”.
Making fun of the Silk Pony is easier than — well, then making fun of Rosie or Kerry. For a blogger, Edwards is the gift that just keeps on giving.

Yes, the war on terrorism. Not the war on Iraq. Not the war on taxing multimillionaires or the war against an a balanced budget.
Just because George Bush wants to claim that his every action is a fight against terrorism it doesn’t mean he is right. It doesn’t mean that George Bush gets the final say on how we fight terrorism. I, for one, kind of like the Constitution’s checks and balances…
sounds like george bush stopped by prestons and stole his newspaper again! if it makes you feel any better pres, my doctor says i gained 5 lbs since the last check up but we both agreed that bush administration policies were to blame.
