I’m back in action.
Pole-vaulter Allison Stokke, who I wrote about earlier this month, has suddenly become very famous via the Internet. Unfortunately, it’s unwanted attention by this 18-year old pole-vaulting sensation.
And how do we know that she doesn’t want the publicity and attention that her images have aroused on the Internet? Because she gave an interview to the Washington Post (replete with new images of herself). And then she granted a television interview to CBS News.
Nothing says “I don’t want publicity” quite like a national media tour.
Anyway — after the Washington Post interview, my spin-counter when berserk (UrbanGrounds is currently a Top 5 ranked hit for Allison Stokke searches). Which caused my host’s server to crash, prompting them to suspend my account.
I might have to pull the post down for a bit until the traffic dies down a bit. Or at least until I can get home this evening and see if I can optimize it somehow to create less of a load on the server.

No, horny guys crashed your server.
