Why do you only mention “Darby” as one of his most ardent supporters and pen pals? He had pen pals a long time before I came into the picture that posted things years before I ever did.

Charles didn’t take Rob’s truck, he took his Cadilac. The letter that he wrote was not addressed to you personally, it was addressed to everyone on this blog. He addressed you in one paragraph. He addressed Bigsis in more of it.

I can see by what you wrote that things have not changed between us and for that, I’m sorry. I wanted us to be able to talk in an adult manner.

Why didn’t you mention KMA above? She has thrown more crap at me and argued more than anyone on here? She loves to call me names and constantly argue with anyone who does not agree with her. Could it be that because she thinks that Charles should die and I don’t is why you didn’t mention her?

I do not believe in the Death Penalty because of Religious reasons. I am a Catholic lady who lives by the Creed. I do not believe in abortion nor assisted suicide either. I used to have a double standard on the death penalty, it was OK for some but not for others.

Since I have studied and had classes in the Catholic Religion and then converted and was baptised Catholic, I know now that it is not right to take a life for a life in ANY circumstances, and my then mixed feelings are not mixed anymore.

If I am thought of as a person who does not understand how the families of Ron and Tracie feel, I am sorry for that. I do understand how they feel and have expressed that to Bigsis.

I was raised in the catholic faith, talk about double standards! Organized religion is a bunch of whoha in my book. They depend on the parishioners to pick up the tab… while they live tax free, how about all the molestation that goes on? I don’t mean to be disrespectful but I think you’ve been brainwashed. I carry a higher power within my heart and soul, I belive when things get to be too much my higher power carries me thru it. I do not need a “place” to worship.

I have worked in the medical field for over 20 years and have had patients beg to end their suffering, to go to a better place where there is no more suffering,,,,,, how about the young woman/girl who is pregnant with a child produced from a rape,or molestation, or the child within is found to be brain damaged or worse born with defects that would suffer the insults of those who are ignorant. There are options for those who are born whole…. I am a firm believer in adoption when the child is born to unfortunate circumstances, I have a very good friend who will never be able to have children and who is wanting a child to love and care for.

The previous postings made by “his supporters” where just off the wall and had no clue. Any questions I had asked Dean, were never really answered, only that he was convicted of murdering his boss and girlfriend.
In the previous thread James Hood makes mention of 2 people who would get their justice in front of “God” . Then why would someone not say so if in fact it was the truth.

You know what it’s funny we euthanize(kill) animals when they are suffering, or harm us, what makes Dean any different, just because he is human…… Doesn’t “Thou shall not kill” refer to all life, or just humans? Did God not create all life, not just human?

Well….I will try to respond to your comments. First of all, when my sister had her first stroke and couldn’t work and didn’t have the money to pay her car payment, our Church paid not only her car payment but her house payment as well. When I went to the Church to pay them back, our Priest would not take the money from me. I in turn donated a large sum of money to the Church. They have never asked us for a dime although during Mass they have a collection plate. They have to keep the schools opened and the teachers paid.

The Catholic’s are not just living tax free. They have Catholic Social Services not only to serve Catholic’s, but help anyone of any faith.

Someone has to pay for the upkeep of these services and the countless other services that they do like feeding the poor and homeless, donating toys and food for low income people at Christmas and other times, their soup kitchens etc. Do you know that you could walk into a Catholic Church where you live and get money from them or food? If they can’t help you, they will find someone who can.

As far as the molestations, that happens in every Religion but when a Catholic does it, it makes the news. I think that they should lock away those priests and throw away the key but that does not stop me from believing in the Religion. Not all Priests are bad. A few bad apples can and should not spoil the whole bunch.

As far as not believing in abortion or assisted suicides, I don’t. Every person has a right to live even if they are disabled or conceived by someone who didn’t want them. There is no reason to get pregnant these days when there is a drug store on every corner. The exception would be rape.

Assisted Suicide? You say you believe in a higher power, so that you know already that God would never give a single soul any more pain than they can take. When a person has had enough, God will ease their suffering and take them to Paradise where there is no more pain. Even if you are on a vent, God will take you when he is ready. A vent can not keep you here if he wants you home. Many people die on life support.

Yes, I did write Charles about the “Concerned Citizen letter” in my last letter to him. I have not received a letter yet and nothing came today so perhaps I will get one tomorrow. I will let you know what he says about that, if anything.

I’m not sure that when God said “Thou shalt not kill” he meant animals too. I think it’s a sin to kill any human being. It does say in Matthew 5:38-39 “Ye have heard that it hath been said and eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth, but I say unto you That ye resist not evil, but whosoever shall smite thee on the right cheek, turn to him the other also”

and (just one more) Matthew 5:43-45 “Ye have heard that it hath been said Thou shalt love thy neighbor and hate thine enemy, But I say unto you, Love your enemies. Bless them that curse you. Do good to them that hate you and pray for them that despitefully use you and persecute you that ye may be the children of your Father which is in Heaven for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and the good and sendeth rain on the just and the unjust, that if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye?”

There are other sites and I actually didn’t find it there, but can’t find the other one that tells me between 3 and 5 million. The site that I just gave you says 2.3 million per execution in Texas. It’s long so you have to either read it all or go down to Texas. Acctually if you have time, you should read it all as it is very interesting.

Lastly, I KNOW you are not arguing with me. I think it’s great that you can share with me your true feelings and I can do the same without arguing. At times I know it may seem that we both say things in a way that looks like arguing, but I AM smart enough to know the difference. AND…If you want to yell at me go right ahead and yell.

You and the multiple murderer are the ones telling stories. I related adjudicated facts from the numerous court opinions to counter your lies. It makes absolute sense to anyone with a brain.

Darby, that was nice of you to post that letter for Dean. However, I cannot quite figure you out. One minute you act like a friend to him then the next you are refering to him as the devil. Everyone is sad about the death of Tracie and Ron you would not be human if you weren’t. It is a horrible thing to have happen. Bigsis you said in a previous note on the blog that you had your doubts. I beleive you keep using this blog because you really do not know what happened to your sister as I suspect noone will. A few things to you to ponder over that is a few reasons why I fill in my heart that Dean is innocent and this is the honest truth you can curse me all you want but this is what I know.
1. If Dean did kill Tracie and Ron first off Tracie was shot behind the ear correct? I am not a crime investegator by any means but with him being within close proximity to your sister and head wounds being very bloody he had to have a huge portion of her blood on him. If Ron came home like the story goes than wouldn’t he have seen Dean with that blood on him?
2. If there was a letter on the table saying whatever it said and Tracie’s name spelled wrong on there than here is a question for you (If you know that your girlfriends normally sleeping at this time and you beleive something happened to her would you not go atleast back to her bedroom to see what was going on?) If he would of he would of more than likely seen blood. And questioned Dean if he was there.
3. If Dean in fact killed your sister and Ron showed up than why in the world would he let Ron call the police if he was going to kill Ron he would of done it before he called the police don’t you think?
I will tell you why this does not make sense to anyone because that is not what happened.

I will tell you exactly what happened and we have had countless conversations with Dean along with others about this. This is how I beleive and will always beleive this happened and no this does not come from Dean but I know people who know people that do research for me. The sad part is noone will fess up that know the truth.
You remember Dwayne Matthews and two other guys that we do not know but Dwayne knows? They came up with an idea to rob Ron’s house. When they were robbing the house Dean walked in on it. Tracy and Ron were being murdered. I will be the first to admit that when Dean was younger he did not have good judgement because of horrific experiences he had been through. The guys were threatening Dean with a gun as well to kill him. They made him touch and do certain things in that house to make sure that the finger wouldn’t point at them.
The only thing I have not figured out is whether the guys put the jewelry and the gun of Dean’s that they were stealing from the house in the car before or after this happened. I do know that Dean was scared to death and ran out of there when he could and the only vehicle he could get in was Ron’s to leave. After they made him do all those things he knew that he was going to be in trouble so he fled to the only person he trusted back in Indiana to help him sort it out. If anyone on this blog was put in this position they would do the exact same thing (be scared out of there mind) Dean had a disadvantage he didn’t know what to do so he went and cashed his check and went to Indiana. He did not kill them and hopefully the truth will come out.
The letter that went to the “DA’s” office that came from the girlfriend of one of the two unknown people with Dwayne. She has talked to the family before but cannot come forward because she is scared for her life. Her boyfriend told her that there is an innocent man setting on death row for what he did.
Here is something else to ponder did you ever know that Dwayne shaved his head bald after the murders because it was his hair underneath Tracie’s nails and thought if he did that they could not prove it. Also did you know that he went up to the jail right after Dean was put in and threatened him that if he said anything that he would kill his family one by one.
My husband along with his sister went to Texas a long while back when this first happened to talk to Dwayne to turn himself in and when he opened the door wouldn’t you know that two men got up off the couch and ran out the back door. To this day my husband beleives that was the other two men. My husband just last week wanted to go to Texas and talk to Dwayne again because Dwayne has told Dean’s family in the past that one of the guys was going to come forward it was just not the right time to do it. My husband was hoping to persuade them.
Everyone on this site makes my husband look like a bad person how is he a bad person for loving his brother. There is not a day that goes by that my husband doesn’t think of this and miss his brother. We know that Charles did not do this, you can think what you will but hopefully the real truth will come out ones of these days and we can all lay Tracie and Ron to rest peacefully and with dignity like everyone deserves.
Bigsis, it took me awhile to decide whether to tell you this or not and I still know more but cannot say it as I am scared because I have a beautiful family I need to protect to and it scares me and my husband that if we dig to far that we could be putting our family at risk. However, I thought you deserved to know this. I know it cannot be easy losing your sister however, I thought if you knew atleast some of the truth it would set your mind at ease.
I really do hope the whole truth will come out.

Wendy, I did not call Charles the Devil! Please go back and read it again. I never gave my opinion on here one way or the other, but have stuck up for him, and simply said that someone could write to the Devil and not support him, meaning the Devil and NOT Charles. I absolutely do not think of him as a Devil. I have written to him 3 times in a week and when he asked me to write in his words, I didn’t mind at all. He addressed you in the letter and he thinks the world of you. He sent me a picture of him with your husband which I have.

Were you at the trial? So far, I have not talked to one person who actually attended the trial itself. I have asked Bigsis just today and am waiting for an answer from her as to wheather she was there or not.

Charles sent me a letter from the paralegal in his murder trial and I’m sure you know about it, but I will not mention what it said in this blog. I feel it is private and he just wanted me to read it and send it back to him which I will do. He asked me NOT to write it down in here nor the article that he sent me to read.

Some of your questions are the very questions that I asked at one time in here. I wondered how Charles could have killed Tracie, wrap her up in plastic and toss her in a closet, then be in the room when Ron came in with blood on his hands or all over him and then NOT kill him before he called 911? It does not make sense. If he planned on killing Ron, why didnt he have the gun in his hand as Ron was calling 911?

Now, Like I said in previous comments…If Charles was hiding somewhere waiting to kill Ron, then how could it be that his voice was heard on the 911 tape in the background? He must have had the gun in his hand but the records show that when Ron made that call to 911, he didn’t sound frantic or under duress, so I have to believe that at that time, he didn’t suspect Charles and didn’t even know that Tracie was dead in the closet. He called 911 to report that he felt that Tracie was abducted because he found the note with her name spelled wrong.

That story does not make any sense at all. I’m trying to figure it out and have been doing “research” on court records to try to piece it together. I want to know what happened on November 1,1989 and it’s hell trying to get the actual court documents on the trial. I got the appeal, but what I want is the transcript on the trial itself. This case is facinating to me because even though he was convicted and sentenced to death, I want to know how the pieces fit together. I think he deserves to have his appeal heard and made no secret of that.

If there is a question at all, it needs to be addressed and questions answered. I have read the entire blog and have seen your comments and your husbands and everyone’s for that matter. I then put in my comments and they were not accepted very kindly. Tracie’s sister and I are now talking nice and I have expressed to her how I feel and she understands as do I how she feels.

I wrote to Charles and told him that he has to understand how she feels. She lost her sister to a Homocide and he was the one arrested and convicted for it, so of course she wants him to pay for it.

If there was a way to get your email address, I would discuss with you other things that I can not say in here. I’m sorry that you took what I said the wrong way as I hate no one and Charles and I do respect one another. I have stated that in here too.

One thing that you mentioned, You said that Charles came in the house as Tracie and Ron were being murdered, and they made him touch things to put his prints on them, but it couldn’t have happened that way because Tracie was killed in the bedroom and Ron came in and saw the note and then called Police to report that she had been abducted. If there were men in the house killing him, he could not have called 911. But after he did call Police and then was killed, that would have only given them 4 minutes to make charles touch the places where they found the prints and there just wasn’t enough time for all that.
Of course we don’t know if Ron was driving his truck or his Car that day and I have to wonder why the robbers would put the stolen goods in the car unless they were planning on stealing it and Charles took it before they could. AND if Charles saw them as they were making him touch things, he would have been able to identify them unless they had coverings over their faces. Of course if he was that scared and knew that he was in trouble I guess he wouldn’t have time to think at all.

This is quite the puzzle, but as I said I will piece it together because I want to. I don’t want to see anyone die if there are questions as to his guilt. There seem to be questions about the penalty phase and the jury instructions that are on appeal, and I hope that he wins his appeal and that every question will be answered so that this can be settled once and for all.

I never said he did it, or he didn’t do it in any of my comments on here but I did question the whole trial because from what I have read about the Judge and lead Attorney, and the evidence and his Attorney, and have recently talked to someone in Texas that I can not name in here, yes I had plenty of questions.

I just wish that we could talk privately because you may know things that I know that are not in this blog and I do not feel comfortable writing them on here. Jon, I pay for my own postage to have a pen pal, and I suppose that he has family and friends that send him money for stamps, paper, and pens.
I am a taxpayer but not in Texas. I pay taxes in Michigan for murderers to live in Prison and I don’t mind. Better to have them in there rather than out in the streets selling drugs, murdering, molesting children and being a threat to society.
You know what Jon? They are people, human beings and have very little rights in Prison and writing a letter to someone is one of the rights that they do have. So, What’s your beef??? PS. I do NOT support the death penalty….

Okay, if someone else did it like you said, if Dwayne and who ever else was holding a gun to Dean’s head, why did he not say so? I know I would be jumping up and down, I would not pay for someone elses doing if I knew who in the Hell did it.

Cost per execution for drugs used : $86.08

Bigsis, I know how much it costs for the drugs. It is all the appeals that a death row inmate gets that cost the state and taxpayers so much money so that by the time all their appeals are exhausted the state has had to pay for Attorneys, Judges, Court costs, etc. for many years.

If they get a sentence of life without parole it’s much cheaper to keep them in Prison. The cost of the Death Penalty procedure is enormous compared to the cost of confining them for life. I have to run, will get back to you today….Darby

OH, I did bring my sisters body home, I made the furneral arrangements, I buried my baby sister, as my mother was devistated by her murder. I am the “Rock” in my family, always have always will. Depending on when they were sentenced a “life” sentence could be 15 yrs, 20, 30, 40 years with time for good behavior. I really wouldn’t want a sociopath running around to kill, maim another innocent person, would you? I will fight to the very end to keep him right where he is at if that is what would be decided……. but then I highly doubt that it would happen.

You can absolutely understand Wendy and her feelings because you not only have had someone close to you murdered, you also have a murderer in your family. I feel so very bad for you for having had to endure two devastating distasters in one life time.

All I ever want is for anyone who is arrested for ANY crime get a fair and just trial, and then a fair and just punishment.

Charles Manson is a murderer and a fruit loop and was given the death sentence. Later when they abolished the death penaty, his sentence was communted to a life sentence in California WITH the possibility of parole. Every two years they deny him parole and I am confident that he will never get out.

My point is, so what if Charles Manson didn’t get executed, he is NOT going anywhere and the families need not worry about him. We do NOT need to execute someone to get justice. It matters not wheather they are executed or live out their lives in Prison, neither of these punishments will EVER bring back the person they murdered or change the lives of those left behind.

It now looks to me like a “Darby bashing party” I read the letter from this Charles Hood guy and it looks to me like it wouldn’t be here if not for her. Since when is it a crime to write to someone on death row?

Darby, I too am against the death penalty, so you are not alone in here. You seem very smart and right on target. I stumbled in here by accident, well actually the other site and then clicked in this one, and so I read all. I am intrigued by you and would love to know what your PHD is in, and if you think your pen pal is guilty or innocent.

I’m not in favour of the death penalty, but I am certainly against the amount of love and admiration some people give to these criminals.

You say they are human? Well, I think they gave up a vast amount of their entitlement to human rights when they took the lives of those who had no choice in the matter.

Being able to kill someone and then sit in a cell writing letters for 10 years before you get killed yourself doesn’t really sound like a suitable punishment to me.
They should be set to work, paying off their debt to society. I begrudge paying any taxes that go toward the upkeep of a murderer.

They shouldn’t be allowed to communicate with the outside world in my opinion – and I don’t think you are doing yourself any favours in using them as pen-pals!

I think you are right on something you said. If I say what my PHD is in, I will be called a liar. If I don’t say what my PHD is in, I will be called a liar. It’s a no win situation. Therefore I will take your advice and choose not to bring my career into this blog. What I do for a living has little to do with this particular case and the only reason I even mentioned it was because I was called stupid along with other things and got mad because I spent too long and worked too hard to get where I am and am nobody’s chump. Do I have an opinion as to wheather he is guilty or innocent? YES I DO but again, I am not going to post it in here. Charles knows how I feel about his trial and the murders, but here’s the thing, I do NOT support the death penalty and never will no matter what I think about his guilt or innocence.

According to someone in here, the debate is if you support the death penalty and not about who did or didn’t do it. An opinion is just that, an opinion. It’s NOT a lie. How can the way you feel about something be a lie??

Jonny, You say that people on death row or even in jail for that matter should not be able to have contact with the outside world. Why not? Does it bother you that much that someone in Prison is allowed to write a letter in their cells? Remember that people on death row are not allowed out of their cells 23 hours out of 24. They are not allowed to work off their sentence so what the hay if all they do is sit there and write. I really don’t care what they do in their cell for 23 hours a day.

I already know the argument about the victims. Their rights were taken away from them and they can not have contact with anyone anymore so what’s good for the goose should be good for the gander.

I’m sorry but I really truly don’t care if someone in Prison writes a letter! The expense to the taxpayers is not the cost of an envelope, stamp and paper.

I will take your advice about the dangers of writing to people on death row under advisement. Just for the record, I have never ever written to anyone on death row before and never will again.

This is a time to remember our Military and pray that they stay safe and come home as soon as possible. They are all hero’s. I write for the Military all the time and they are sent to Iraq and other places so that they know we still love and respect their brave efforts to keep us safe.

I have a nephew in Iraq now in the Army and lost a friend to a sniper bullit in Iraq last year. He was so proud to serve and joined for that purpose. He knew the risks but chose to defend his Country. I am proud that I knew him and that he gave his life for his Country.

I hope that each and every one of you has a safe and great Memorial day! It’s supposed to rain in Michigan the whole weekend Bigsis, so we may have to have our first barbecue inside instead of out. That sucks, since I haven’t had time to put up my patio cover yet and probably won’t.

My brother who is in prison, has and always will be a habitual offender, He killed a guy in a bar fight over a flipping pool game! He has had opportunity to “straighten” his life around, many of them, As far as I am concerned he is dead. To my mother, Dean is dead, she knows he will NEVER GET OUT. I on the other hand feel differently about the whole situation, as we all know.

If my brother had been executed alot of other people would not have fallen victim to him and been hurt, including myself, I found when you try and help or stick up for people like my brother and Dean you end up getting screwed, without any lube! THAT MAKES ME REALLY PISSED OFF, as it would make any one.

I can only imagin that the family of the man my brother killed must have felt. I feel an eye for an eye is appropiate, though someone said i think an eye for an eye leaves us blind, no I can still see out of the other one! HA HA HA. sorry just being a smartie pants.

I would like to address inmates being able to write to pen pals….. I don’t have a problem with them writing, it is WHAT they write….. I feel they may and sometimes do take advantage of the people they write to. That is the only thing that gets me…. but then most who write are lonely. I am not by any means saying that DARBY is a lonely person! I wrote to Dean under an alias, I was curious as to what he would say, and felt he wouldn’t write to me as Tracie’s big sister, I hope he will not hold it against me, and shouldn’t if he is truely a christian.

The first letter that I wrote to him was mean and cruel. I asked him what it felt like to kill, how did it feel to know the day he was going to die because most of us just have to wait and see. He wrote me back and told me that he wished nobody in his shoes BUT ME.

I had to laugh at that remark until I reolized that this guy was going to be executed and that he was indeed a human being. I wrote him back not even knowing that he would get it before he was executed but praying that he would. He wrote me and told me that he had already forgiven me before he got my letter. He then wrote to me to tell me that he got a stay.

I’m sure that he has that first letter that I wrote to him. I have his but I have another home in Brighton if you know where that is and that’s where it is.

I did write down what you said and quoted it to him in a letter that I sent to him last week. I wrote him another one and it was mailed this morning. My mail has not come yet so I am hoping that I get one today, if not then no more mail until Tuesday.

Thank you once again for coming to my defence. You are correct in the fact that I was in no way attacking Robbie’s sexual orientation. I’m sure that when he reads the post, he will know that was just another cheap shot at trying to make me angry.

hello everyone….. I just want to say that some life changing events have been happening. I know that when I first started to write in here I was really angry. Thru this thread I have been able to see things more clearly and realizing that Dean does have family, and that not all of them are like Dean. I ask my higher power to take the hate out of my heart, as it takes to much energy and time to continue with those feelings….. i have a friend who is helping me to try and find forgiveness, I really don’t know if I can…. but I still feel he is guilty. I will still be there when it is time…. but for different reasons, I just feel it is something I have to do.

I don’t wish to bicker, what happens happens.

Your new attitude is wonderful, keep it up and you really do not have to find forgiveness for Dean, that is your right, especially with you feeling that he is guilty.
I know one thing, if I was innocent of a crime that found me on death row for so many years, I would be kicking and screaming for the whole world to hear, I would be giving as many press interviews as I possibly could. I would be sending letters to every major newspaper in the country, why is Dean so passive ?

OK….I have something to say here

There are people in here using more than one name. I went back and took a hard look at this blog from the very beginning. There was no “Nats” in here before so how could this person say to KMA that he/she has told her before that she is only rude to those who do not agree with her?

Then “Hey Ericson” pops in here once and calls me a cute little name or two never to return.

KMA never wrote in this blog until I did, and then she appeared out of nowhere to talk to me like she has been in here the whole time. Where did this Blech come from? All of a sudden this person appeared to make a quick comment but has never before….

I think that KMA is coming in here under different names and I am now wondering how many people in here just change their names to have something to say?

With the exception of Bigsis and a few others, I am not sure I believe anyone in here anymore and who they are.

I think that KMA is “2″ also. They talk alike. If KMA is going to impersonate someone, she should try to change the way she talks so as not to bring attention to herself.

Nats, I am very up on the Cathy Henderson case too, but I do not write to her. lol I didn’t know that there was a blog for her as well. I thought it was very odd that KMA didn’t say a word in this blog until I did, then she came out of the closet, so to speak. Yes, I noticed also that Robbie does not ever say a nasty thing to her. The first time I wrote in here, he blasted me and called me names. That is because I do not support the death penalty and he is so for it and can’t see past his nose about it. I did write something nasty back to him and got blasted by KMA again. LOL

There is only one side, His. KMA is pro Robbie no matter what he says. I questioned that already and so did someone else in here. It did appear to me that she is using more than one name, so if I’m wrong, I’m wrong. I wouldn’t put it past her though. I will have to find the site for Cathy Henderson. I suppose already that they think that she killed that baby on purpose and should die and rot in hell with Charles, even though the Medical Examiner in that case changed his mind.

Nats, I just reviewed the blog about Cathy Henderson. I see that KMA was indeed there and in her usual form. So it isn’t just me……

LOL She doesn’t like anyone that even has an opinion that is not like hers. She even had something to say about the guy ( Steve) that offered the Family a mediation and said that it can’t happen because she didn’t admit to a murder. I think that he knows better than she does about the process which he checked on and found out that they no longer do it for death row inmates, but did at one time. He wasn’t EVEN talking to her but she jumped in anyway.

Thank God that I am in Michigan where the death penalty is not even up for discussion. We simply don’t have it and probably never will. I’m sure that the voters here would not allow the DP ever in Michigan. If it ever came to a vote, I would be the first one at the polls to vote against it. A lady named Diane wrote in the other blog and talked about the death penalty and getting closure from a life sentence, and KMA came right in and knocked her down too.

1. No, Steve didn’t know better because the program clearly stated that: “The offender must admit guilt and accept responsibility for his or her actions prior to the meeting.” Those on death row that did participate admitted their guilt. Henderson has not.

2. The Baugh family is adamant that they want Henderson executed for murdering their son and grandson. Nothing classy about someone telling them they know better when they have never been in their shoes.

If you don’t know who I am I am the sister in law that get’s “blasted” on here all the time. If I were you I would not even justify KMA with a response. If you look on the other site he has came after me many times and other people for that matter and it seems this isn’t the only blog.
People like that you cannot argue with because they are troubled individuals. He is not looking to offer sympathy or anything else for that matter they are so unhappy in there own skin that they come on sites like these to bicker and argue with others and say mean nasty things. I imagine KMA has his own anger problems to deal with and more than likely in the next few years I imagine there will be a site set up just like this one in his defense because someone that mean and ugly will probably be capable of just about anything.
I think that Bigsis is trying to heal and move past this and she is a great person from what I can tell and people like KMA are just trying to keep the hate moving on. It will not end with this website or another KMA will continue the anger till they seek medical help.

Hi Wendy, You are so right that KMA has issues. A very angry person that needs some type of help.

If I read correctly, Cathy Henderson had the same type of issues, getting angry and blaming it on everyone else, so you may be right about her getting just mad enough to be stupid. I guess if someone that is not stable gets angry enough, they can do anthing. She will come back with a quote from something that one of us said and comment on it. Probably about the “stable” comment.

Do you write to Charles? Also were you or your husband at his trial?

Yes, Bigsis is a very nice lady. We now write to each other in private emails and I’m glad that I decided to do that. The bickering in here is too much for her.

She appreciates Robbie a lot and thinks the world of him, and I respect that. It’s really not Robbie that I have a beef with, we just disagree on the death penalty. He never reaponds to anything that I say and I guess that’s a good thing.

Nope nothing yet. You are correct that I am tired of the bickering, it makes it difficult as I am trying to heal. Anger and holding a “grudge” takes way to much energy for me to keep it up….. I still feel the same just not as angry……. Someone told me that Dean shouldn’t be angry at me……. afterall it was my sister who was murdered and he was found guilty….. he should understand how I feel, and to pray for me.

I am not the only person who suffers……. Dean does have family and it must be difficult for them also, I understand their feelings….. I am sorry that at times I have been so ANGRY with them…… talk to me not at me, and when anyone attacks someone verbally one takes a defensive stance.

Well, just an update from the DA’s office….. they have filed a certitorie stateing why this doesn’t need to be looked at by the USSC.

They are sure his attorney’s will file something also…. just wanted to let everyone know what’s up.

The court’s on vacation. On 9/24 the case is set for conference. Shortly thereafter, they will issue a decision.

Well this is the latest update re: Hoods request

The Supreme Court of the United States had denied review of Hood’s
claims today.

At this point he has no challenges to his conviction and an execution
date could be scheduled.

However, the Supreme Court, as of last week, has decided to take review
of a Kentucky case challenging the lethal injection method.

The Kentucky protocol is similar to the Texas protocol, and an execution
here has been stayed due to that case.

It is not clear right now whether all Texas executions will have to be
held until a decision issues in that case.

They give 5x the lethal dose of each drug. So, there is no issue of correct or insufficient dosage. It’s just another red herring by those who wish to stop all executions.

I’m against the death penalty for a couple of reasons and I personally do think ‘jail time’ (LWOP) is much harder than ‘dead time’.

I doubt if he’s jumping, but if he does remember he can jump, but if he jumps too high he will hit his head hard.

I know he is still in prison and will never get out it’s the fact that he even breathes, his heart still beats….. neither my sister Tracie and Ron have that opportunity and neither should he. I know that his living conditions leave alot to be desired but he still has them. LWOP depends upon what the ruling was at the time of sentencing….. at his time there was no LWOP so if they change it to “life” he may still be able to apply for parole… not that I WOULD EVER LET THAT HAPPEN…. I WOULD BE THERE FOR EVERY PAROLE HEARING THAT PIECE OF SHIT WOULD HAVE.

Even though he is in a hell hole, living under very horrible conditions, so they say, I can fully understand where you are coming from, you want closure and you deserve it. No Big Sis, no one in my family was murdered so I know it’s impossible for me to feel what you are feeling and that for such a long time.

I understand and respect your view that his death will bring closure to you. I really hope it does.

But don’t you think he will suffer more and longer with a life sentence? If there was no death penalty, maybe you could get closure with that (life sentence) and you didn’t have to wait this long figuring out what’s going to happen with/to him.

But as you said, this is my opinion and you don’t have to share it. You’re entitled to yours as I am to mine.

Ron … the answer to your question is yes it does put them to “sleep”, the ssecond drug causes paralysis to the diaphram… halting breathing, and the 3rd drug causes the heart to stop. As a medical person… i could think of much worse things to do to them… like no sodium penathol…… then they would be awake and actually know what it really feels like…. can you imagine being awake and getting a paralytic drug…. your mind would work but you would be unable to speak or anything else…. the potassium burns really bad at the site of injection and all the way up the vein…. feel like your arm is on fire and you cant put it out…… now how would one like that.

I have no empathy for anyone who takes another life or lives. They are definately where they belong, no respect for life, most is caused by greed…. wanting something that they are unwilling to work for…. takers, losers, pathetic pieces of humanity.

His death will be closure for me….. I think that the thought of knowing when you are going to die weight more on ones mind than knowing you will be there for life….. but you have to remember that when this crime occured there was no LWOP, so life could mean 20 yrs and since he has been there for 18 of it he could be eligable for parole…. not that he would ever get it…. i would see to that. But knowing that it is a possibilty inspires hope that someday he may get out… stranger things have happened…. when he is executed it is absolutly guaranteed that he will NEVER hurt another human being.

I only check this site from time to time just out of curiousity. So, my comments about Wendy’s accusations are untimely, and I am sorry for that.

Dwayne, my husband, but separted, would first of all be glad, as I would talk to anyone in your family or any defense attorneys if you think it would help. Your family knows how to reach me, otherwise, I am listed.

When your parents came to visit us, two neighbors were at the house visiting. We saw your parents arrive and asked our guests, before your parents got to the door, to please leave so that we could have some time alone with you folks. We knew that they were arriving and thought the polite thing would be to get rid of the guests to talk with your parents. It may have appeared weird, but at this time it was a sort of family thing and we asked our guests to leave to allow Dean’s parents and us to talk privately. The back door you referred to was nearly a second door on to the deck that we used regularily, rather than the front door. Of course, your parents, as virtual newcomers to the place, came to the front door, which we rarely used. They just freaked out and jumped to conclusions because the guests left out another door, weird as it looks, it wasn’t an intentional “skip out the back door” kind of thing.

Funny thing about that, I might ad, is that when one of the defense attorney investigators came to see us, he came to that very “back” door. That has no point in this, but anyway.

The thing is Wendy is that Dwayne was fingerprinted and he may have even been polygraphed and interviewed and interviewed, and apparently had an alibi for the time of the ordeal.

Also, is their any records of Dwaynes visit to Dean? I would be interested in that because I don’t recall him visiting him.

I know you want to blame Dwayne because you all wanted Dean to make a new life in Texas and things didn’t go that way. After all, why was he leaving Indiana? Because of trouble, well we all know that you can’t out move your problems.

I do wish the best and I have never felt that Dean was capable of murder, but facts are facts, and the facts show Dwayne was not part of it.

everything is on hold due to the Supreme Courts reviewing the ” cruel and unusual punishment” with lethal injection, and all executions have been put on “hold” til a decision is reached.

Are there any updates on the case? It is January 14th, 2008.

The update is that as soon as the USSC rejects Baze v. Rees, the State of Texas will set an execution date and this time the execution will be carried out. Say, goodnight, Chucky.

I do not believe that Charles committed this horendous crime. There are too many questions that have yet to be answered about this case and until they are answered this case will continue to be delayed. As I said there are too many unanswered questions.

What questions do you think that need to be answered? When the USSC rules in favor….. Charlie boy’s sentence WILL be carried out. No question about it…….

I do not believe that Charles has exhausted all the legal avenues at his disposal. What makes you think Anonymous that the ruling is just around the corner? What exactly do you think validates his accountability of guilt? What 2 previous threads? Where do I find them? Why do you believe the USSC will rule in favour? I just believe there are to many questions that have not been answered.

What you believe or don’t believe is irrelevant. Hood has lost all his appeals. Executions are on hold until the Court issues the opinion that LI is constitutional. The Court’s calender ends late June/early July and they will have a decision before then. Since the court is fast tracking it, I would expect a decision this month. With any luck, Hood will be in Hell by summer.

Well Annie…. if you type in Charles D Hood in the search box you will find them. Dean has indeed lost all appeals….. heard it right from the DA’s office. It really doesn’t matter what you believe or think about his guilt or innocence….. it has already been proven he is guilty….. he just cant face the fact that he will have to accept the same punishment he dished out to my sister and Ron.

It’ll be nice when SCOTUS finally rules on the legality of the lethal injection drug cocktail currently used for the death penalty.

I would guess Uncle Charlie has a date with a gurney not too long after that…

Correction: Both the death penalty and LI are constitutional. The issue now before the court is whether the method of administering LI is constitutional. And as Scalia so wisely said: It ain’t surgery!

Why should I tread carefully Robbie? There are plenty of people who are free that are more dangerous to me than Charles. There are murderers that walk amoung us that have not been caught yet or are thinking of killing as we speak. I am not afraid of Charles. But indeed if all of his appeals are exhausted, I would like to hear it from him, so I sent him a letter this morning in hopes that I will hear from him soon.

I check every other day or so to see if there are any scheduled executions in Texas, and so far there are none. I’m sure he has a little more time and then you can put on your happy feet. How anyone can be so happy to see a human die is beyond me, no matter what they did.

I feel very bad for you, Big Sis and for The Williamson family and also for the Hood Family. They are all victims, but killing Charles will never change anything for you victins, but it will most certainly have an effect on the Hoods, because they will know the feeling of what it is like to lose a son, brother, brother-in-law, and grandson. They are innocent people. I am not sure if you had their grief in mind although they have been through hell for the last 18 years also.

Charles knows the Lord and all we can do is kill him, we can not put him in hell. I know some of you would like to think that he will be in in hell, but believe me when I tell you that God forgives us of our sins from a little lie to a murder. So Charles will be fine, and really all you are doing is punishing his Family and putting them through the grief that you already went through for the last 18 years.

The Judge’s and the executioners are the ones that need to ask for forgivness too, for they are the ones that order a death, pull the plug, or start the IV that intentially ends someone’s life.

And yes, Texas now has life without the possibility of parole.

Hi Darby, why do you mention Texas has life without the possibility of parole when you speak of Charles’s case? When his appeal goes thru he will be found not guilty and well be off death row and out of jail.

We all have our own beliefs in this world..Charles thinks he is going to be with his God…. but did God not have 10 “Rules” to live by? As for life without parole….. “life” could be 10 yrs or 50 yrs and once you serve that time your done…. so would you really want them out walking the streets again? Prison does not change bad behavior for most…. maybe one or two… it only bottles it up while they are there and when they are “out” it explodes maybe taking more lives. I really don’t care how they do it…. it aint rocket science! Just when…. i have always said time was on my side. Sound bitter? just a little…. Angry no…. Annie, I heard also that Charles has exhausted his last appeal. I did send him a letter yesterday so that I can see it from his own writing but sadly, it’s probably true.

Unless they find someone who admits to killing Ron and Tracie, or get a new lead in the case, Charles has no hope unless they decide to give him live without the possibility of parole, which I doubt they will ever do that.

From day one, Charles has professed his innocence to this crime, and after 18 years on death row, he still says he didn’t do it. I just hope beyond all hope that Texas got the right guy because once they execute Charles, that is irreversible error and that is one of the reasons why I do not believe in the death penalty. What if???

If he were to receive life, he would have more time to prove his innocence. These people who want him dead haven’t ever laid eyes on him unless they were at the trial, so I don’t understand why they want him dead so bad. It’s not going to affect their lives one way or the other if he’s dead or in jail for life.

As far as closure, some think his death will bring them closure, but I don’t think that is going to happen. His death will only bring back the memories they have tried to get over for 18 years. Maybe they will breath a sigh of relief that’s it’s “finally” over, but so will the victims families of the killer who murdered their loved one that dies in Prison. What is closure???? When someone is murdered, does the family ever really get closure?

I just read a book based on a true story of a man that was arrested, charged, and found guilty of murder. He spent 12 years on death row and 4 days before his execution, someone came forward with information that exonerated him. Pretty scary I think.

Anne, I am waiting for a letter from Charles to answer that very question and when I get it I will let you know….

Big Sis is the sister of Tracie, one of the victims and she hears it straight from the Court and she has told me and posted it in here that Charles has exhausted all of his appeals. You have to remember that he has been on Death Row for 18 years now and that is a lot longer than most get.

The usual amount of time is roughly 12 to 15 years, sometimes sooner than that, however there are a few that have been there longer than Charles has. I don’t think that he got a fair trial and would have loved to see him get another chance with better councel, but he’s not going to get that.

I think that because they never brought in the girl that he cashed his checks with every week, who should have checked the signature if there was even a question that Ron didn’t sign it, they didn’t get anyone to verify that it was forged, or his voice on the 911 tape, and according to the letter that I posted from Charles, there were prints in the house that were not his, Ron’s or Tracie’s that didn’t get in at trial, and they never had a handwriting expert to say that the letter written to Ron by Tracie with her name spelled wrong was Charles’s writing. If they would have done that, and a handwriting expert was absolutely sure that it matched Charles’s, that would have done it for me, but they did not do that.

They also didn’t say whose blood it was on his bloody prints, Tracie’s or Ron’s? They left doubt. Remember it is not up to Charles to prove his innocence, but the state to prove his guilt.

On the flip side of that, his bloody prints were found on the safe, the closet door that Tracie was put in, and the letter written. He took Ron’s car and was found back home in Indiana where he came from, with some of Ron’s things in the car that were in his safe, and wearing Ron’s watch and apprently that was enough for the state, because he was convicted.

To me this is still a puzzle that boggles my mind because of the doubts that I do have. I want to know HOW it happened minute by minute and how Ron did not suspect Charles when he came in and read The letter. What happened after that troubles me, although who ever killed Tracie killed Ron and Tracie was killed first.

All these questions will probably never be answered, but that will only bother me and It won’t hurt anyone but me so I pray every day for Charles, and the victims families, and the Hoods that somehow they can can endure.

One question for you…What makes you think that he has another appeal?? Did you hear it from him and do you write to him?

Ok, thanks Darby. No I haven’t heard any news. I just wanted to know whether he had exhausted all is appeals or not. There are so many questions that have not been answered and it confuses me that the Texas courts can convict someone when there are questions that haven’t been answered.

Well for some you may still have questions but as for me there are none. I don’t think that God has anything to do with this matter. For me it is a matter of Justice, punishment for the taking of 2 lives… Tracie and Ron……. I don’t care if he has a crappy life and for some of you …… think it would be more punishment for him to stay locked up for ever….. you are entitled to those thoughts and feelings…. And those of us who feel he should be executed are entitled to ours. How can Texas courts convict someone when there are questions?
Look up the case of Michael D. Johnson. The great state of Texas executed him and knew that another person admitted guilt but because of some technically, they refused a stay and hours before he was to be executed, he slit his wrists and his throat in his cell.

He wanted to take a stand, knew he couldn’t stop it so he decided to take his own life. True Story. They have done it before, and they will do it again.

Yes I would like it posted. What was deleted? I am sure that Robbie would never intentionally delete parts of a letter that I requested to be posted. I would also like to know just what parts Dean said were deleted. It will be very interesting to see what he has to say to me. How long is the letter? Short and to the point? Obiviously someone copy and pasted his posted letter and sent it to him otherwise how would he know…… its okay…. I want to say that I did go back and re read the letter the only thing that was deleted by Robbie was

All prisoners are ordered to have no contact with their victims and their victims family members. It appears that Hood is trying to use your blog for the purpose of communicating with them. It is obvious that the Wallace family does not object, but has the Williamson family waived that court order? The other people he is attempting to address?

Big Sis, First of all, I didn’t tell Charles that some of his letter was deleted. I went back last night after I got his letter and re read it too and saw the same thing. Charles asked me in my letter why I didn’t place what he said about Trava’s Dad where it says “deleted by Robbie” and then he went on to say it again.

Obviously I wrote it in as he wrote it and Robbie decided that he should delete parts of it. This new letter is 8 1/2 pages of written words so I don’t know how long it will take me to type it.

Actually it says to please print this out on the Bib Sis web site, which means this one.

I’m sorry that I can not accommodate Robbie and type it out for you and then re type it in here. That’s just way too much typing for me and he did request that it be put in here by me so I can not make that request happen. If you want me to put it in here and Robbie agrees with the terms, then I will do it. I really don’t think that he will delete anything in this letter but I will read it again to make sure.

One thing he did was paste a typed thing that is at the top of this page put in by Robbie I think. It has 4 points that has the reasons that he was convicted and he explains them to you, one by one.

Robbie, Thank you for allowing me to do that. I do have one issue. After I wrote to you and Big Sis, I went up and read the little note from Anonymous who says that prisoners can not have contact with the victims (obviously, they are not with us anymore) or the victims families. With this Medellin decision, the Roberts court has made it clear that they mean business when it comes to the implementation of the death penalty. Say good night, charlie.

Anne: The Medellin decision is about a man named Jose Medellin who was arrested in Texas for rape and murder in 1993. He was 18 at the time.
He told Police that he was from Mexico, the Police were supposed to contact the Mexican Consular officers so that they could send him legal help through the Mexican Consulate but they did not. He then told them at his Trial that he was not a United States Citizen. They still didn’t contact Mexico. The decision for this law came from the President of the United States.

He finally wrote to them himself from death row in 1997 and they knew nothing about his case. They said that had they known, they would have provided him with help so they started helping him at that time.

[Editor --- You got this almost right, Darby. The US justice system does not have to tell you that you can contact your consulate. They do not have to inform the Mexican Consular officers. What the law says they must do is honor the request of a foreign citizen to speak to their Consular if they ask to do so. Medellin did not. He never did until it was too late to do so (after he was convicted and talked to some jail-house lawyers. And that is why the SCOTUS ruled as they did.]

Mr.Roberts who is a Supreme Court Justice decided that they didn’t have to listen to the President and that Medellin can still be executed because it would not have changed the outcome of the Trial if Mexico had been alerted of his crime. He is not denying he did it.

What Anonymous is saying is that since it didn’t matter in that case, it won’t matter in Charle’s case, or any case regarding execution in Texas.
That case has nothing to do with Charles nor did that decision. Anonymous is saying that because of what Roberts said, Texas isn’t going to put up with these kinds of technicalities.

The reason nobody is being executed comes from a decision about the use of lethal injection and that it is cruel and unusual punishment so all executions have been stopped until the Supreme Court makes a final decision about lethal injection. Hope that cleared it up for you….Darby

I believe that those six referred to in the Houston Chronicle story are for Harris County-related cases only.

Well I did hear from the DA’s office and this is what they said……

the judge acted on the motion to set a date, and that date is now June 17, which provides more than the 30 days required for a subsequent setting.

It’s too early to know the likelihood of it occurring on that date, which is horrible if you intend to travel.

I have some ideas of what to expect and there will probably be some surprises, but since there is no legal reason not to proceed, it is important not to delay

I have to say that I finally read Hood’s letter…… There was alot of “preaching” in that letter…… Though he still maintains that some other people were in the house, making accusations of it being a “dope house” why then was my sister’s toxicology report negative for any drugs. A rape kit was performed and it to was negative…… Why did my sister 2 weeks before her murder tell me that Dean made her nervous with him there… and that he was going to be asked to leave the household? I know I will never really know until I see my sister at the pearly gates, then and only then will I ever know the other side of the story….. I truely believe he is guilty.

He says in the letter that “God” has changed his life….. what the hell… what else does he have…. he may feel he has “changed” and yes he may very well feel he has changed, but it would not have happened had he still been free…… he himself said it in the letter. That does not excuse the fact he took 2 peoples lives. Weather he admits it or not, God knows what he did… and he will answer for it.

I am going to Texas, and I am sure it will be a very emotional situation but I am a very strong person and will get thru this too, just like all of the other things in my life…… Good Friends are always there, yes some of my friends feel it isn’t a good thing for me to do… as it will most likely bring alot of raw emotions to the top…. I have said since the day I was told my sister was murdered… that the son of a bitch that did it will be held accountable for their actions. I am not angry when I say that now…. at first very much so, so angry that for a while in my life it was almost consuming, thru good friends and professionals I have managed thru it.

Seeking justice for almost 19 years on behalf of one’s sister for takes a much stronger person. Implying that one must forgive the unrepentant and unremorseful murderer is the act of a selfish and unempathetic person.

You have no idea just how strong of a person I am, as I have said before The scum bag that murdered my sister will pay for what they have done, and when charlie boy’s life is taken from him as he did to Ron and Tracie…. justice will be served. You can think and /or say what you will, but UNLESS YOU HAVE WALKED IN MY SHOES you should keep them to yourself, as you have no flipping idea what it has been like to know that, that son of a bitch still breaths while my sisters young life was taken from her, in a cowardly fashion I must say….. Geez shooting someone in the head while they sleep is pretty cowardly, and shooting someone while their back turned shows just how much of a sniveling coward he is. Leathal injection is to kind, they scream about it being a cruel and unusual punishment… they certainly didn’t consider the cruelty of their crimes, the suffering it would cause…. unrepentant and unremorseful for their actions… no consideration, or respect for humanity. They deserve what they get.

I actually just read all of this today. I often check up on the death row inmates and their execution dates. First I want to say to you Big Sis that I am so tragically sorry for the loss you have suffered. I have never lost a family member to a murder but I have lost one to cancer. Not the same but the same void lives in you.

I have watched another family grieve after their family member was brutally murdered in 1993. The young man was my little sisters best friend and the whole process was just unreal. I followed each step of the case, trial and appeals like a madman. I just couldnt believe the bs that anyone can toss out there to save their skin. This tragedy took place in Denton Texas.

We watched his murderer go through appeal after appeal and two seperate stays for his mental retardation claim. Much like Charles Hood, his murderer seemed pretty competent until he thought he might actually die. They never even tried him for J.G.’s murder because they also murdered another young woman that was with him. He was tried for that murder instead. He was finally executed April of last year. The young ladies family did not attend the execution because they had let it go a long time before.
J.G.’s family however did attend. His sister called my little sister on the way home. She was almost in a state of shock. I think because there are so many emotions that you have to deal with besides watching another person draw their last breath. I know she said it became almost more painful at the point because she actually had to finally let it all go. I am glad the it gave them the closure they were seeking. But how does one ever get over the loss of another loved one to a tragedy.
I want you to know I am a very firm supporter of the death penalty. I believe God gave us free will but He also gave us the “Law of the Land” by which we are to abide. Some people do not know how to live inside that law.

I wish you nothing but Godspeed on your journey. I wish I had found this link long ago. If I have spoken out of turn, I am sorry but I felt the need to post you. I will keep you in my prayers on that day and pray for your safe travels.

I just wanted to say that some of my friends fear that attending the execution will be to much for me, in that it will bring back alot of repressed emotions…. It very well may, but I am a very strong person and I do have my support people in place. I have seen much death in my lifetime, I totally know what to expect and as he takes his last breath…. I will be smiling knowing that Justice will finally be served. It may sound cold and unempathic to some but that is just the way it will be. I will be the only one from my family going…. My sister and mother have long let it go, saying he is already dead in their minds….. but not mine

Yes I do feel some relief in knowing that the frustration will be gone, and justice will be served….. I don’t think that if I were to be absent from the execution that I would be able to find peace with it….. One of the main reasons I am going….. is to have closure.

I agree that having support is important, no matter how strong a person one is. I had several people ask if they could be my support person, but I wanted and asked Robbie to be that person…. he has been a wonderful friend, I thank him for this blog as it has given me the outlet that was SO much needed to vent frustration and anger.

This is my first time on this web site. I am Canadian and always been against the death penalty. I have read most of what has been written. I cannot believe that this has gone on for this long. What seems weird to me is that Sis is actually communicating with supporters of this killer.Yes, I mean killer, I do not have the case file on hand but the 911 call, the bloody fingerprint, the stolen car and no explanation?
I cannot imagine the police would fabricate so much evidence. To get to my point I was sickend by the letter that Charles wrote. If he really cared about the victim why would he demonize her by saying that she was a cocaine hore? What was his intent? It is clear that he has no remorse for his actions. I do agree that the D.A probably lied about alot of things that can’t be proved but that is the court system. Stick to the evidence. If you haven’t noticed all death row inmates say they are innocent. To get to the point again I can’t imagine what the purpose of this web site is for? Well Robbie has a lot of opions on things and I am sure there are many others have opions on those things..Its like a big debate… As for this thread….. to me it is support… thru these threads i have been able to vent frustration, anger, and speak for my sister and to some point for Ron also….. There have been times when the “weirdos” have attacked my sisters character… I refuse to sit by and let it happen and wished I could have been the yellow pages and reached out and touched em!

I want any and everybody that reads this to know that Tracie was a loving, kind, sweet, nieve person….. and she is greatly missed. I really miss her coming up and putting her arm around my shoulder and saying this is my little big sis! She was at least 4 inches taller than myself and it used to make me smile when she would do that…. she had a light about her that would just warm your heart…… those are memories /feelings that no one can take from me.
Robbie posted a separate thread for sissy with her picture ….. so that people could put a face with her name… it isn’t as popular as this thread but it is there and it gives me some peace knowing it is there.. maybe more people look at than I know, and maybe they just don’t know what to say……

I think if it would’ve happened to me~ I would have lost my mind and gone to a mental institution.. I know that there’s some individuals in the world that dont belive in the death penalty, those are the individuals that have never lost anyone to murder, or rape etc.. And I know that if this did happen to me, I would want the person to be executed as well.. for fear they may get out and it may happen to someone else..

Sorry Sis Im confused who started this web site? It doesn’t say at the beginning. Robbie who is Robbie? I also would like to apoligize for questioning this web site my intent was not to bash you. Im sure it’s very therapeutic having some type of forum were you can share opinions and keep your sister’s memory alive. I should of told you that I am French Canadian, English is my second language I do not always choose my words correctly. I too had too live through my own personnel nightmare. The only difference is you will have closure and justice will be done. US is tough on crime, not Canada.The murderer that killed my friend got 12 years in prison for 2 degree murder. Dev, Why did you think that you had to lie to get your post read? I have read them all, some good, some not so good. I have been in here several times looking for Darby and finally found her. I also wrote to Mr. Hood and he is not upset at all. I got a very calm letter from him saying that he has one more appeal they are going to file and that faith will be done the way God wants it to be carried out. Darby wrote to him long before she met the Big Sis but she also understood how the Sis felt, and how Mr. Hood felt.
I don’t believe in the death penalty because we kill people to tell them that it isn’t right to kill and that makes no sense to me at all.
Darby is ill right now and at home resting so if anyone has a message for her, I will gladly see that she gets it.

Jackass may try to appeal the latest TCCA ruling. However, since it was denied on jurisdictional grounds, his chances of them hearing it are zero to none. He is also requesting a pardon based on claims of procedural errors. For some reason he thinks that the the board of pardons is going to reconsider purely legal grounds already denied by multiple courts. Also, a dead bang loser.

Charles Dean Hood is my friend and they are going to kill him to let him know that it’s wrong to kill. My heart is aching. I talked to his Mother today and she told me that the voice heard on the 911 call was NOT Charles’s. I believe him to be innocent and I know that his trial was not a fair one. If you have not read the article “Ardor in the Court” then please do. This is going to be an irreversible error when they kill him. I have written to the Governor, and the President begging them to at least read that article and give him a new trial. So many things were not allowed in because the Judge and the lead Attorney were having an affair at the time of his trial. There is a blog for him called Urbangrounds and they are just having a party in there about the new date and wish he would rot in hell. All they can do is kill him, they can’t make him rot in hell because Charles is a Christian and if God takes him, that is where he will be. I’m devastated….Darby

I don’t believe that Darby wrote that…. Only because I have communication with her and that is not how Darby talks. I have talked to Darby alot so I think I know what I am talking about. In your opinion, that may not be how darby talks. However, it is definitely how darby writes. Darby believed that by not stating unequivocally that she believed Hood innocent, it gave her opinions more credibility. She came here thinking she could convince people that Hood was not guilty and /or didn’t deserve the death penalty (wrong on both counts). I have heard many family members of murder victims complain that they are targeted on the internet by those opposed to the death penalty. They insert themselves into the mvs life and hope they can change their minds about the dp and it will stop the execution. Failing that, the mvs can still be used as a new poster boy/girl against the death penalty.

Well if she did say it, then I guess she said it and I am a dumb ass for talking to her about it….. But in my heart I know that Dean killed my sister….. 2 weeks before my sister died I spoke with her on the phone, she called me….. She told me about Dean and how nervous/uneasy she felt with him around… and that Ron was going to ask him to leave, because all he wanted was what he could get and didn’t want to better himself…… Also for 6 months prior to her death.. I had a reoccuring dream that someone got into the house and shot me in the head while I slept….. THAT IS WHAT HAPPENED TO SISSY! I told her to be careful and don’t be alone with him…. well we all know what happened… So really to me I have NO DOUBT that he killed my sister and Ron. They creep argued that Texas has changed their protocal and it has not be reviewed by the courts and that they are challenging LI as cruel and unusual on state grounds. They will not prevail on either issue. However, I don’t know how this will effect the scheduling of Hood’s execution on 6/17. I’m terribly sorry that they are doing this to you and the Williamson family again.

The tdcj says they have not changed the protocol, so that issue should be dismissed quickly.

Well I have not heard from any of the officials that let me know what is going on so I am not going to worry about it unless I hear it officially.

You are the biggest fan of the Death Penalty that I have ever seen and my question is why do you love it so much? I think that it’s not about justice with you, but you love talking about death itself. Death to you is a great thing and you love to read the articles about how somebody squirmed when they died and that gets you off in some sick kind of way. It just doesn’t matter to you if they did it or not. You live for the next murder so you can boast about how the next guy should die and you are obsessed with death and dying.

That was uncalled for as this girl is losing her brother in law who she believes to be innocent. Eveybody has an opinion and mine is that I do not believe Mr.Hood got a fair trial either and I’ll go one step further and say that I believe that he didn’t do it and I don’t care what the hell you think of my opinion and I’ll speak it any time I want to until the Editor tells me not to. This blog will be a memory in a couple of weeks anyway so I don’t think he minds what anyone says at this point. You say that you don’t go by the jury but the facts of the case, well you are one sandwich shy of a picnic then. I also thought they should have spared the life of Karla Tucker who did indeed admit to murdering two people but in Prison turned her whole life around and became a Christian, taught the Word to the other inmates, got married, and was fully rehabililated and at least was helping other inmates. What was the point of killing her? She told the Families how sorry and stupid she was so why not let her live her life out in Prison helping to rehabilitate others but you were probably happy as hell that they killed her too just because you feel she should have died. Oh my God there you go again. Jules TOLD you that Darby wrote to him to ask him why he killed them. Did you not see that? She wanted to know why he did it!!!! He wrote her back and told her he didn’t do it and answered her questions. She has reasonable doubt because of the letter written to Ron and that is her biggest problem with this case. Who wrote that letter?? I suppose you know the answer to that question since it was NOT brought out at trial. Obviously who ever wrote that note is the killer but no expert was brought in to testify that it was his handwriting so there is a doubt right there. Did you know that there were other sets of prints that were not Ron’s, Tracie’s, or Mr.Hood’s? That was not brought in either so there is another doubt. Nobody confirmed that it was Mr. Hoods voice on that 911 tape, nobody. Another doubt. What are you going by?
Mr.Hood asked for DNA to be brought in and was denied. Why??
Because it would not have made a difference as they say. How the hell do you know that, it was not allowed in by that corrupt Judge and lead Prosecutor so you can not assume to know that it would not have made a difference. He should have been re tried and I know what I’m talking about and have researched the record for myself. That Jury only gave him death because at that time, life was 20 years and they didn’t want him to get out so the only other option was death. What most people think — it’s not always all about them. Once again, if you didn’t write it, I couldn’t be responding to you. Since, Eric did write it in a post directly following yours, it was clear I was responding to him.

Unfortunately, it’s doubtful. Hood will file a last minute petition claiming that the Texas LI protocol is cruel and unusual and the TCCA will grant and hold the petition and stay the execution until the lead case of Heliberto Chi is decided. I don’t know how far along the Chi case is. If by chance the TCCA does issue an opinion in Chi in the next two weeks, the attorneys for Chi will undoubtedly appeal the decision and executions will be on hold again. As to moving on, feel free to do so. Whether I stay or go is my decision – not yours.

Yes, I can explain how Mr. Hood had Ron’s credit card, the fingerprints on the plastic that was NOT taped to Tracie’s head, the car being in Indiana and anything else that you want to know. I can explain the flowers, the things of Ron’s that he had in his posession, etc.

Of course you were there and that is how you know everything right? You have spoken to his Family and Mr. Hood right and attended his trial right? WRONG. I stuck my head out?? I simply choose to believe that Mr. Hood is NOT GUILTY of this crime. When a doubt is raised by the Defence you must look at it that way.

I have several doubts now so hense my statement. Since I choose not to explain anything to you, and you wouldn’t believe me anyway even if I did, I’ll just say that you are a big turd who is 6 cans short of a 6 pack.

You don’t have the contacts that I have so it’s doubtful that you will ever know any more than you already do. Some of the evidence may point to Mr. Hood but evidence can be very deceiving at times and I know this for a fact.

You need to look at the whole picture and not just bits and pieces of it.

Many people go to jail and do time because it looked like they were guilty, when in fact they weren’t. I have a good friend who’s house got raided by the under cover police and it was the wrong house, so instead of saying hey man we are sorry we got the wrong house and we were supposed to be next door, they planted crack in a bag and said they found it in his bedroom.

He didn’t do time because he had no prior record and had a good Attorney but he was convicted of possession of a controlled substance and he never had it in his house and never has done drugs, but it LOOKED like he did.

If he is in fact not guilty , why does his family stand idle , why are they not screaming to the politicians and the press , after all their loved one is close to being executed. Why is he not screaming his innocence , it just does not add up.

Robbie, I just went up and saw your comment to me. You’re a good man and I appreciate what you said. Here’s the thing about the Dp, I didn’t mind that they executed Tim McVeigh even though I’m not for the DP. He killed alot of men, women and children and he never denied it and he is a person that the world can do without, as our lots of other people that kill who are not famous. But when I have a doubt about the guilt of a person that is facing death, then I think it’s wrong to execute them. As much evidence that they may have against Mr. Hood, there is still many doubts that I have come to know about.

I’m glad that you understand the feelings of those of us who do not believe in it and I respect you for your thoughts as well. I would never put you down for your beliefs. The reason that I was so rude to the others is because of what they said and how they said it.

Tom, Why didn’t you mind when the executed Tim Mc Veigh? Killing is Killing isn’t it ? Tim Mc Veigh wanted to die so he didn’t have to suffer in prison.

Anonymous, Tim McVeigh killed hundreds of people including children and never said he didn’t do it. He got mad at the Government and so blew up one of their buildings and was proud of what he did.
He admitted it so that is the difference. I didn’t want them to execute him because of my beliefs and the fact that he wanted to die. I thought they should have made him sit in his cell with every picture of every one he killed on the walls for the rest of his life, But Guess what? Doing that would have been cruel and unusual punishment, so as I said, I didn’t mind.
Mr. Hood on the other hand says he’s innocent of murder and since I have a doubt or five, I don’t think they should kill him. Yes, Murder is Murder of course but if you are going to execute someone for murder then I think that there should be no doubt. Maybe you have no doubt but then again you wouldn’t because your mind is closed and you would still say he had something to do with it even if someone else came forward and said that they did it, but I do have doubts.
Do you care? NO Do I care? YES
It makes no difference to you because you just want him dead. You read and heard what you wanted and you forgot about what evidence that wasn’t allowed in that may have changed the outcome of his Trial. I’ll give you only two to mull over. 1) Who wrote that note?
2) Who’s voice was it on the 911 tape? Neither one of those questions were answered at Trial and there is no proof whatsoever that Mr. Hood wrote the note and that it was indeed his voice on the recording. Now don’t come back here and tell me that he wrote that note or that it was his voice because as I said, there is NO PROOF OF THAT. No expert witness was called to give their opinion on either question. Sorry, but that alone with nothing else leaves a doubt in my mind and there is more but not tonight. I hope I answered your question to your satisfaction and now I have to run.

I just want to say that I have no doubts regardless of what evidence was or was not proven…… I think I am the only one in here without any doubt…. 9 days… Justice will be done, and I will have closure.

How can the courts in Texas ignore such valuable evidence as the handwriting on the note , and the voice on the 911 tape ? What possible reason could they give to not look in to these factors during Hood’s trial , surely a half decent lawyer could have forced the court to test the evidence , or , did the lawyer know it was Hood and did not pursue this !
This puzzles me , after all , a man’s life is at stake here , also over the course of nineteen years on the row , all appeals dismissed , this still remains a mystery.

Lethal Injection, according to the Supreme Court.. could be a violation of the Eighth amendment. According to many “LI” is cruel and unusual.. if there was a way to die without the pain involved, this wouldn’t be happening.. too many “botched executions”.. this is at a standstill, until The Kentucky cases are decided.. and nobody finds out until the last minute.. whether we are “pro” or “anti”.. it’s at an obvious “halt”.. hellllllllllllllooooooooooooooooooo..

By the way “kiddies” Derrick Sonnier was givin a “stay” of execution a mere 90 min. before he was scheduled to die. The state of Texas still has cases questioning the legality of the current lethal injection protocols that it hasn’t decided yet. So, even though the U.S. Supreme Court just ruled in April that lethal injections are OK legally, Sonnier’s execution was delayed until Texas rules on its other lethal injection cases…. ya DIG….

TDCJ adopted a new lethal injection protocol on May 30th,…which says the Motion for Stay of Execution reads. “Among other revisions, it sets a floor for training and qualifications of the executioner- a floor for Mr. Sonnier has no idea if the TDCj has met.” Executing Sonnier with an untested and enexamined protocol, they argue, would be a “mockery of our system” .. and if that jazz doesnt “blow yer dress up”, then ponder this my pretties.. it may mean all TX executions wil be stayed until the Chi and Woods cases are resolved, and/or until the new protocol is examined by the court.. huuummmmm….??? .. c-ya..

Court of Criminal Appeals handed down three cases involving the death penalty and lethal injection.
Relief was not granted in any of the cases, and that decreases Hood’s chances of success at a last-minute petition on that issue considerably.

So I say to all of those who oppose LI and the DP…….. suck a raw egg.

From what I have read on the net , apparently the prisoner is already strapped to the gurney when the witnesses are brought in to the gallery. The needles are already inserted and the body is covered with a sheet , it is at that point he is asked if he has final words , it is my guess that he won’t confess.

However he is brought in doesn’t matter as long as I see him there…. He will never confess, will be interesting to hear his final words.

The Texas Supreme Court has just lifted the stay for Sonnier.

And in doing so, the court found that the U.S. Supreme Court’s 7-2 ruling which upheld Kentucky’s lethal injection procedure is “materially indistinguishable from Texas’ lethal injection protocol.”

Which means that Karl Chamberlain will be dead before the sun sets tomorrow night.

And in a week from today, so will Charles Dean Hood.
