It’s unfortunate that Mays what not shot to death by the officers. Now we’ll have a trial. He’ll be found guilty (because, you know, he is). He’ll most likely be sentenced to death. And after a few dozen appeals, he’ll probably be executed sometime around 2023.

My understanding of “good behavior” credits for jail time (yes, I have some experience in this area) is that the credit applies directly to your behavior while you’re incarcerated.

The ploy works beautifully since the Dems have no backbones whatsoever. And would rather back away from their posturing than actually have to go on the record for having voted for their idiotic ideas.

Why the sudden shift?

Because until last night I had no idea that Paul had joined the “blame America for 9-11″ crowd. When asked about his comments on non-interventionist policies, he responded:

Have you ever read about the reasons they attacked us? They attacked us because we’ve been over there, we’ve been bombing Iraq for ten years.

Ron Paul is a idiot. They didn’t attack us because we are “over there”. They attacked us because we’re not them. And it’s the same reason that they’ll continue to attack us even after we’ve left Iraq. Because they hate us; because we’re not them.
