If Nancy Pelosi really wanted to help Veterans out, she could start with hiring one or two of them to work on her staff — which would have helped her avoid this embarrassing gaffe:
Click to enlarge the image. Which clearly shows that the veteran Pelosi wants to give the “largest increase in veterans’ funding in history” to, is a Canadian.
Since Nancy and her idiot web masters don’t seem to be able to find a picture of American veterans, in a gesture of reaching-across-the-aisle bipartisanship, I’ll be glad to lend them this one:

The guy on the left (me) is a Veteran of the U.S. Army. And since I have a 30% service related disability, I’d appreciate that increase in funding for veterans.
The guy on the right is my little brother. In 4 years, he’ll retire from the U.S. Army after 20 years of service. I’m sure he’d be grateful for the increase in funding. The uniform he’s wearing? That’s the uniform of our country’s Army.
(Here’s a bonus pic of me in an earlier version of the U.S. Army uniform, taken about 15-years ago in Bosnia)

McQ at QandO—the guys who broke the story—have updated the story to let us know that the picture has been suddenly (and without explanation or apology) been taken down from Pelosi’s site. And it only took them three hours.

What’s with your hands? Are you giving some sort of super secret signal?
