Harry Reid

Sen. Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) had the temerity to called our Nation’s top Generals incompetent:

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid called Marine Gen. Peter Pace, the outgoing chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, “incompetent” during an interview Tuesday with a group of liberal bloggers, a comment that was never reported.

Reid made similar disparaging remarks about Army Gen. David Petraeus, the top U.S. commander in Iraq, said several sources familiar with the interview.

As Shawn at Simply Conservative notes, “Harry Reid Couldn’t Carry Their Boots.”

Reid has never had the honor, the selflessness, the patriotism, the courage, nor the balls to ever serve in the military himself — so what he knows of military competence could fit inside of a thimble and then shoved up his ass.

Syd And Vaughn remind us of some of the awards that General Pace has earned in his military career:

Yeah…that just reeks of incompetence.

OTHERS:

More on Harry’s incompetence (which grows by the day):

Democrats keep challenging the weakest administration since Jimmy Carter, and incredibly, prove to be even weaker. . . . It took Republicans 12 years to dissolve. Democrats have done it in less than six months.

I congratulate them on their efficiency.

Raje’s Rant on Harry Reid:

To be fair, Reid probably crossed the line into rooting for us to lose a long time ago. But there’s a difference between silently hoping for it and actively cheering for it.

Domestic enemy of the US MilitaryEven left-wing whacko Taylor Marsh gets it:

General Pace is the wrong target and Reid should know better, because you never win when you attack the soldier

And yet attacking Soldiers (and Marines) has been part of the Liberal and Democratic strategy for a long time.

Uncle Jimbo (retired Master Sergeant) at BlackFive:

You have got to be s**ting me! Harry Reid calling anyone incompetent is like Michael Moore calling them fat or Bill Clinton calling them unfaithful. Aside from the fact that they are both hugely accomplished men, for a thin-lipped, milquetoast, cream in the coffee, cadaver like Harry Reid to mouth off to them is just sorry.

One Response to “Sen. Harry Reid and Incompetence”

  1. Let’s remember Gates fired Pace, not Reid. We now have a War Czar, SecDef and an incoming Chair of the Joint Chiefs who are all skeptical of the surge.

    What does that tell ya?
