This is such delightful schadenfreude:

LAGUNA NIGUEL, Calif. — Al Gore’s son was arrested early Wednesday on suspicion of possessing marijuana and prescription drugs after deputies pulled him over for speeding, authorities said.

Al Gore III, 24, was driving a blue Toyota Prius about 100 mph on the San Diego Freeway when he was pulled over at about 2:15 a.m., Sheriff’s Department spokesman Jim Amormino said.

The deputies said they smelled marijuana and searched the car, Amormino said. They found less than an ounce of marijuana along with Xanax, Valium, Vicodin and Adderall, which is used for attention deficit disorder, he said.

“He does not have a prescription for any of those drugs,” Amormino said.

Gore was being held in the men’s central jail in Santa Ana on $20,000 bail.

Thank God he was driving a Prius though. Can you imagine how pissed his daddy would have been if he’d been out endangering the lives of innocent people on the roads while driving a gas-guzzling SUV?

According to this CNN report, this is the second time that young Gore has been arrested on drug charges. He’s also been arrested for reckless driving (2000) and drunk driving (2002).

I’m sorry, but how does this sense-of-entitlement, “Do you know who my daddy is?” punk still have a driver’s license? Did Uncle Teddy Kennedy recommend a good lawyer?

_________

You just know that someone on the Left is going to find a way to blame Bush or Rove for this. Or at the very least, they’ll question the timing of the arrest as a Bush plot to discredit and distract Daddy Gore.

That’s some pretty sick s***, finding happiness in this situation. You make Bush Derangement Syndrome seem like pristine mental health. Some day, if you regain your sense of shame, you’ll feel pretty ugly about this post.

Busted going a 100 mph in a Prius is pretty funny. It’s so p.c. lol!

It’ s nice something like this can make you feel so good. But then you do seem to be a dick.

Only a leftard would feel poorly about one of their own being stopped driving a 100 mph while under the influence of mj and God knows what other drugs. To those of use who prefer to not be killed by this asshole, allow me to say, bwaahhhh!

Looks like leftardos like to deal out the dirt, but dislike it when the their lefties make fools of themselves, which with Gore-bot and clan is a frequent occurrence.

The networks and PBS mention the Gore III’s getting busted, though they neglect his rap sheet on drugs and other unreported stuff like his getting kicked out of St. Alban’s—like his father Al III was a snitch and a miscreant at the same time and heartily disliked by his fellow students, as he was snobbish even by St. A standards which are world-class.

Poppy Al Gore II’s strange inability to get into law school has never been examined by an MSM avid for every sordid detail of your average Repub candidates CV. The urban legend is that he had what used to be called a massive “crack-up” during his college years—the lefty MSM has helped him cover up these factoids which would be fine by me had the MSM been even-handed in its cover-up mode. Maybe Al has been hiding electroshock treatments like Eagleton in ‘72 or some psychiatric history not conducive to presidential stature. Probably not, as even the MSM would have unearthed such nuggets with their truffle-snuffers.

Personally Al II is actually a decent guy and went out of his way to greet my 6-year old daughter in the White House Mess when he was on crutches due to a basketball Achilles-heel incident.

But he has constantly played his hand as though he has a Full House even though every time he is unmasked, it’s been a busted flush!

The secret sins of the fathers are passed on to their kids, which is why I fear for my now 18-year old daughter!

Will Al III get the same treatment as Paris Hilton?

Will Al III get the same treatment as Paris Hilton?

Oh, no. He got an incredibly sweetheart deal. I knew they were going to go soft on him but not this soft! He has a history of DUIs and he should have gotten a mandatory 120 days county jail at a minimum.

Got something you want to say?
