During breakfast this morning at the Cracker Barrel, I was reading the news at CNN.com on my cell phone.
When I read a headline that started with these three words — Obama. Intern. Arrested. — I immediately wondered what Obama and his intern were doing to get themselves arrested.
Another Clinton-Lewinsky lewd conduct incident?
Nope. After actually reading the article, it turns out that one of Obama’s staff interns was arrested:
DES MOINES (AP) — An intern working for Illinois Sen. Barack Obama’s presidential campaign was arrested Friday at the Des Moines airport after authorities flagged an outstanding arrest warrant for aggravated battery in Illinois.
Derrick Lamon Johnson, 20, of Glen Carbon, Ill., was also charged with fleeing from justice.
Of course the important questions to ask now are, “What did Obama know, and when did he know it?”
And why is Obama surrounding himself with violent thugs? My guess is it’s because he’s black (allegedly).
I have not yet been able to find any proof that Obama had previous knowledge that his intern was a wanted violent thug — but I promise to keep digging until I can find the most obscure and coincidentally-related connection that I can find.

Well, you seem appropriately dismissive of the doings of a twenty year-old intern in one of Senator Obama’s campaign offices but I’ll chime in:
It’s not as if Derrick Johnson was the Senator’s campaign chairman.
