Suspended Tennessee Titans cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones will face two felony charges in a February shooting at a strip club, local authorities said Wednesday.
Jones, 23, faces two counts of felony coercion stemming from allegations that he threatened to kill employees inside the Minxx Gentlemen’s Club on February 19.
Three people were shot by an unknown assailant, believed to be part of Jones’ entourage. One of the shooting victims suffered a severed spinal cord.
Jones faces up to 12 years in prison and a $10,000 fine if convicted of each charge.
Wednesday’s charges came two days after Jones reportedly was questioned by police for a shooting at an Atlanta strip club. The alleged incident occurred early Monday at Club Blaze in DeKalb County, where members of Jones’ entourage got into an argument with three other men at 4:16 a.m. EDT.
According to police, the incident at Minxx started when two dancers – one allegedly a friend of Jones – were showered with hundreds of dollars in bills.
Jones allegedly grabbed the hair of one of the dancers and punched her two or three times in the face, police said.
Aaron Cudworth, a bouncer at the club, interceded and attempted to escort Jones out the door. But Jones jumped back onto the stage and allegedly threatened to kill the bouncer.
“Matter of fact, all yous are gonna get it,” Jones said, according to the police report.
Jones then allegedly took a swing at Cudworth, who put him in an arm bar. Jones responded by allegedly biting the bouncer on the ankle.
Hitting women and biting men on the ankles? Low.Life.Thug.
The sooner this guy is put behind bars the safer we’ll all be.
