Run Cindy Run

On May 28th, Cindy “Attention Whore” Sheehan resigned from the Peace Movement.

Well —less than two months later — she’s back!

I knew as well as the rest of you that she was lying.

But she’s set her sights on loftier digs than a dirty ditch in Crawford, TX this time. For her umpteenth encore over the last four years, she’s going to run against Speaker Pelosi for her House seat from Californ.I.A.

Sheehan, a Californian, officially announced that she intends to run as an independent against Pelosi in 2008 if the San Francisco congresswoman doesn’t move to impeach Bush by July 23, the day she expects to reach Washington.

“I know what Californians care about,” Sheehan said. “They don’t care about the ruling power elite.”

You know, those wacky drug-dropping Communists that comprise the majority of San Fransisco’s populace might just be willing to cast more than a few votes towards Ms. Sheehan.

In a perfect world, Saint Cindy would split just enough votes with Pelosi to allows a Republican to win the seat.

To which I say, “Run, Cindy. Run.”
