Guess who was arrested? Again.

Anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan was arrested Monday in or near the hearing room where Gen. David Petraeus and U.S. Ambassador to Iraq Ryan Crocker are testifying on the situation in Iraq, according to the U.S. Capitol Police.

Four anti-war protesters were arrested for disorderly conduct. One of them, who was not named, is being taken to George Washington Hospital “due to complaint of injury” and is also charged with assault on a police officer.

Because nothing says “peace activist” like assaulting an officer of the law…

Serious question — why can’t anti-war protesters act like adults? Is it really that hard?

How many more times do we allow Cindy Sheehan to be arrested before we label her as the continuing public nuisance that she is? This time a police officer was assaulted. This woman is clearly deranged and it’s not a far stretch to imagine her escalating her tactics until somebody is seriously hurt.

Someone needs to intervene. And by intervene I mean lock her crazy ass up in a mental facility or put her in jail.

Actually, Cindy makes a good point. The loons are loose! She has the right to free speech (doesn’t everyone?), but proably be a revival of the Alien and Sedition Act! It applied in 1798 and it applies equally today! There comes responsibility with our freedoms and that is the part that those rabidly touting the 1st amendment seem to forget… that includes morons like Wade Churchill and most of the Congress!

I’m not saying Sheehan doesn’t have a right to spout her hatred and lunacy — I am saying that she doesn’t have the right to do so wherever and whenever she pleases.

Do you think Sheehan should be able to walk into your living room and start yelling at you? Do you think she should be able to walk into a movie theatre and start yelling at the patrons?

Of course you don’t.

She is a total and complete wack job. Her mind, her being, her entire life is now committed to overturning bush. Hey I think Bush has major problems and is a sellout on immigration, but this woman is the personification of the political stand the dems will take in 08. they are running against bush, and no one else. hey let this psycho mouth off, it shows how screwed up her mind is. at this point she is nothing more than a pawn and a tool of the dems. a really sad woman trying to be relevant.

She was recruited by the J Effing Kerry(the fwench candidate) campaign, while she was grieving her hero son’s death, was used by them as long as she was useful, and discarded her. She is like an old athlete that stays too long, she couldn’t live without the cheers that her fellow loons gave her.
As for Free Speech, I’m all for it, it lets me know what is going on in peoples minds, irrespective of how nutty it may be.
At least we still have free speech, and the right to assemble. It looks like those days are gone in the EU. If they ever all agree to a constitution, they are gone for certain, and will never be an ally in the GWOT, but an enemy.

Come again? I’m not sure I understand.

Got something you want to say?
