A Muslim Jihadist In Michigan?

Houssein ZorkotA camouflaged man armed with a loaded AK-47 was arrested in Dearborn Park, MI on Saturday:

A 26-year-old Dearborn resident, Houssein Zorkot, was arraigned in 19th District Court Tuesday on several felony charges, including carrying a dangerous weapon with unlawful intent.

Zorkot, a third-year medical student at Wayne State University, was allegedly armed with an AK-47 assault rifle and dressed in black clothing with camouflage paint covering his face when he was arrested Saturday in Hemlock Park.

The article doesn’t mention it anywhere — but I’ll go ahead and ask the question: Do you think he might, just might be Muslim?

I’m sure CAIR will be issuing a press release and holding a news conference at any moment to claim that Houssein is just a good Muslim boy who loves America, but was unfairly “targeted” by police, and is a victim of “racial profiling”.

When it comes to our security, I’m all for racial profiling. Color me not politically correct, but it’s a lot easier to offer an apology to one person than try to spin a terrorist event after the fact! I’ve given up several liberties when I travel - that’s all part of the security and I hope that everyone else feels the same. I don’t want some nutjob getting through screening without the same type of searches because it offends his/her religion or country of origin! Terrorism offends ME!

It will be interesting to find out more about this person, what his legal status is, if he is a citizen or on a visa, and from whence he comes.
As for profiling, I don’t see how anyone can misconstrue that as an improper tool to be used by law enforcement or security agents. It is a useful tool, that only because a few misused it in the past, it has now become another victim of PC condemnation.
As for claiming “racial profiling” when a muslim is detained or questioned, is just ludicrous.

we see him wearing a white coat that doctors wear with the stethoscope around his neck….This isn’t the first time that hospital workers and doctors are connected to terror threats either…. remember?…
