It might be helpful to remember that weapons inspectors were in the process of confirming the absence of chemical weapons in Iraq when they were pulled out to make room for the Marines. The country has been a flaming bag of shit since that decision.
No disrespect to the Marines but I wouldn’t ask them to perform brain surgery either- they are simply the wrong tool for the job.

What a waste. We invade a country based on lies, tell them what to do, and now we get to watch as the terrorists take over. The war on terror is being lost at every turn, and Bin Laden is still free. We loose with Bush in control, and we will loose with the Dem’s in power. Our economy is a bag of shit and neo-cons like the clowns in this site and putting fuel on the fire. Down with the USA. Hell I am moving to Canada or something, at least they know how to run a country.

Well we are proving that the US is a country falling apart at the seams. Economy down the tubes, stuck in a war we are loosing, and a moron running us into the ground. At least Canada doesn’t go invading countries based on nothing, and claiming its to spread democracy. Only an idiot would even think thats true. Canada’s economy has been booming for years, and their dollar is more powerful than ours now! A tiny economic engine passes ours? Open your eyes gentlemen, we are watching the end of the American Empire!
The fact is Jaques (the real one of course!) is that I don’t wish America to be seen in this light.
I have much family there as wel as a childhood that I greatly enjoyed.
America has lost it’s role in this world under Bush and others like him.
They don’t understand, or attempt to portray, the fact that they have such power it is untrue! Instead of killing people, they need to understand that they can be a country of knowledge and leadership as they once where.
This will only change with a Democrat president, but having said that, I’m getting a little worried about those who may come to office!
America is and can still be a great country.
They just need to understand how powerful they are.

Jacques, I really resent the term ‘moron’ that I’m assuming you use to describe my President! I may not always agree with him, but let me assure you that there are a bunch more morons in Congress! Those are the people who could do more if they had the intestinal fortitude to work for US instead of playing politics for fun and profit!
