He goes on to say: "There are no taxes in Islam, but rather there is a limited Zakaat [alms] totaling 2.5 percent."</em> HAHA- I expect to hear right-wing reconsiderations any time: "Hmm... that Bin Laden guy, has some pretty good ideas on taxes..." Well, I know you're just having fun, Robbie, but aside from OBL's advocacy of the flat tax the most obvious American parallel with this religious fundamentalist is ... other religious fundamentalists. Of course our variety does't operate by beheadings but they surely share the goal of religiously constrained laws and behavior.
