Hillary the Socialist Wants To Give The Rich Folk’s Money to the Poor

When will Sen Hank Clinton (D-NY) ever learn (that’s a rhetorical question)?

First she wanted to give every new born baby in the US (and probably illegally-parented anchor babies, too) $5K just for being born! Now she wants to create a government-funded universal 401K plan:

Every citizen could get a 401(k) retirement account and up to $1,000 in annual matching funds from the government under a plan offered Tuesday by Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton.

At a cost of $20 billion-$25 billion a year, the plan is Clinton’s largest domestic proposal other than her plan for universal health insurance. The New York senator said it would be paid for by taxing estates worth more than $7 million per couple and would help narrow the gap between the rich and those who don’t have enough savings for retirement…

… Clinton said less than half the families in the United States have retirement savings accounts and those who have them aren’t saving enough. She said she often meets people working even into their early 80s because they don’t have enough savings.

“We don’t have much of a nest egg to fall back on,” she said.

Sigh.

I thought we already had a universal 401K plan in this country.

It’s called Social Security.

And we’ve all seen what a bang-up job the government has done managing that retirement fund…

She will say anything, promise anything to get elected. We are so in trouble if she wins. Anything the government gets their money grubbing fingers into always goes off track.

Yes social security was supposed to be our retirement plan…HELLO..!!! And yes what a wonderful job the elected officials on both sides did with protecting that.!! I don’t think I even get full benefit until 67 now. What a money grab that was when it was started. But it can be slightly forgiven, people back in the early to mid 1900’s were still a little naive and actually believed the government could be trusted with money we gave them.

Now days anyone who thinks our elected representatives can manage, handle, and save their money better than they can as a private individual is a complete MORON with no historical perspective at all. Anytime I hear some politician say hey here’s a new government program…I want to scream “Social Security” anyone..??????? Look how screwed up and mismanaged that is.!! Now she wants our medical system????? Oh man we are screwed if she wins.

Please tell me there are not that many stupid people in this country.!!

What the hell is an “illegally parented” anchor baby? I might be interested in your opinion on any given subject if you didn’t sound like such a moron.

Sorry, Mensa — I’ll be a bit more literal for you as your reading comprehension skills seem to be a bit underdeveloped:

Anchor baby refers to a child born in the United States to illegal immigrants or other non-citizens. The term refers to the role of an illegal alien’s child, as a US citizen, in facilitating chain migration under the provisions of the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965.

Since we all get to put away $5000.00 already into an IRA, I think that for best savings for retirement the politicians should allow all to contribute at same levels as current 401K rules allow. Sure would be nice to put away $20,000 into a 401K instead of $5000 into what max IRS rules allow. There is a huge injustice here. As a Disabled American who works, pays taxes and VOTES I am thankful that I have an employer that has let me continue working even with a disability. Too bad there is no employer sponsored plan here. I can only save for my retirement at IRA levels at least for now until I become further disabled.
