No not really.
Well, maybe just a little bit…
Rep. Michael Turner (R-OH) had requested a flag that had been flown over the U.S. Capitol be sent to the grandfather of an Eagle Scout in his district with a certificate inscribed with the message: “In honor of my grandfather Marcel Larochelle, and his dedication and love of God, country, and family.”
The Architect of the Capitol refused to put the word “God” on official certificates enclosed with flags flown over the U.S. Capitol.
Pelosi has decided to back up the Architect of the Capitol and thinks we shouldn’t include references to God on the certificate. Even though God is found in the Pledge of Allegiance to said Flag.
When asked about her decision, Speaker Pelosi responded:
“Because God doesn’t have any place in the USA, and I would rather cut the heads off those infidel Christians than have to put up with their damned values and morales.”
Wait.
She didn’t say that. That was Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the now-dead leader of al Qaeda in Iraq.
Sometimes the Democratic talking points sound so much like the al Qaeda talking points that I get them confused.
I think Rep. Turner is 100% correct with this:
He said members of Congress vet the appropriateness of messages constituents request with the flags, and their discretion should be sufficient.
“We have the responsibility for these common sense issues that might arise with flag inscriptions and this one is basic,” Turner said. “The architect has decided the word ‘God’ is offensive. This rule should not be allowed to stand.”
God forbid our political leadership actually uses common sense…

Henh…judging by her politics, thought processes, and appearance, I don’t think God is too fond of her, either.
