There’s a reason that I’ve long referred to They New York Times as al Qaeda Times of New York™ — simply because they have shown time-after-time that they despise our own military.

And this is just one more slap in the face of our military from the favorite paper of jihadists everywhere:

October 13, 2007 — Every major daily paper in New York took note of President Bush’s decision to bestow the first Medal of Honor of Operation Enduring Freedom on Navy SEAL Lt. Michael Murphy - a Long Islander who gave his life for his country and his fellow SEALs.

Every paper but one, that is.

And it shouldn’t be particularly hard to guess which one.

No. It’s not hard to guess at all.

Indeed, it would be hard to cite a news outlet more responsible for sapping U.S. morale - and emboldening America’s enemies - than the Times.

But Murphy was a New Yorker.

He served with unusual valor and distinction in Afghanistan.

The writer of this article from the New York Post assumes that anybody working at the al Qaeda Times of New York™ has any idea what the word valor means…

We figure if Lt. Michael Murphy was alleged by John Murtha to have gunned down innocent civilians, the New York Times would have noted the story; in all likelihood, on page one.

But the fact a local hero was bestowed with the Medal of Honor doesn’t even merit a mention in the alleged paper of record is disgraceful.

Sad, but true.

New Yorker Wins Medal of Honor, NY Times Ignores…

It will be interesting to see the New York Times try to wiggle an excuse to get out of the consequences of this, if they even have the decency to try. It will be interesting to watch the backlash and the apologists. It is interesting, but sadly not s…

I just call it the NYSlimes.
They are unabashedly anti-Bush, and supportive of the LLL, so don’t expect any display of decency, or any apologies. If they do, please let me know, as I never read their crap anway.

That just freakin’ sucks. How does the local desk miss a story like that? It doesn’t seem plausible that the local editor said “Don’t print it” when the story’s absence would certainly make a huge stink. I suspect some schmucky intern missed the story as it came over the wire and will have his narrow Ivy League butt in a sling, most ricky tick. Still, that doesn’t explain its absence from the website. Curious…

Sam, it really isn’t that difficult to understand what the NYSlimes is up to, it’s common knowledge.

Got something you want to say?
