Not a good Monday morning to wake up and by Hillary Clinton.
First, there’s the Zogby poll that indicates that more than half of all likely voters would NEVER vote for her (up from a mere 46% from an earlier poll).
To top that off, her shady campaign financing sources just keep getting more and more questionable. You gotta love the Washington Post headline that mocks her with: Dishwashers for Clinton: Once again, a zeal for campaign cash trumps common sense.
DONORS WHOSE addresses turn out to be tenements. Dishwashers and waiters who write $1,000 checks. Immigrants who ante up because they have been instructed to by powerful neighborhood associations, or, as one said, “They informed us to go, so I went.” Others who say they never made the contributions listed in their names or who were not eligible to give because they are not legal residents of the United States. This is the disturbingly familiar picture of Hillary Rodham Clinton’s presidential campaign presented last week in a report by the Los Angeles Times about questionable fundraising by the New York senator in New York City’s Chinese community. Out of 150 donors examined, one-third “could not be found using property, telephone or business records,” the Times reported. “Most have not registered to vote, according to public records.”

Edward at Heading Right thinks “Hillary Has Some ‘Splaining To Do”.
Ed Morrissey at Captain’s Quarters wonders, “Has The Silence Begun To Crack?”:
Hillary Clinton’s fundraising scandals have kept the blogosphere amused and certain pundits occupied, but the story has not moved much beyond the Los Angeles Times and the New York Post in the mainstream American media. However, the Washington Post editorial board has sent a small signal that her latest fundraising peccadilloes warrant more attention.
If I were a Democratic candidate named John, Barrack, Bill, or Dennis — I would hammer Hillary on this every chance I got. Especially at every single debate.

I wonder what all goes on behind the scenes (and under the bridges) in Camp Hillary. Even AQ supports her. She’s very scary.
