Conroe Tiger FootballI graduated from Conroe High School in northern Montgomery County. My lovely wife is a graduate of McCullough High School (since renamed The Woodlands High School) in southern Montgomery County (just north of Houston, TX).

Back when we both attended (she’s 6 years younger than me, so we were there at different times) — our two high schools (just 20 miles apart) were each other’s biggest rivalry.

During my four years at Conroe, we were 3-1 against the Highlanders. However, the Tigers have not faired as well in recent years and had lost 11 straight years to their southern rivals.

Until this last Friday night, when my alma mater finally beat my wife’s team 35-14 to end the streak.

I just wanted to post this to rub it in a bit…

Got something you want to say?
