Good for him

Some of our Senators and Congressmen understand what the term “illegal” means. And they act accordingly. Like Rep. Tom Tancredo (R-CO), who called ICE to report that there would be known illegal immigrants at a Dick Durbin (D-Il) speech.

Before Sen. Kay Baily Hutchinson voted with open-borders Democrats on the DREAM Act yesterday, she allowed known illegal immigrants into her Senate office for a nice warm chat.

Which would have been fine. If she would have concluded the meeting by having them arrested and deported. You know — for being in our country illegally. Shit — if we can’t count on our law makers to actually uphold our nation’s laws, then what fucking good are they?

Even though he’s only our state’s junior Senator, John Cornyn understands this much better than our senior Senator.

Three Dallas students who traveled to Washington on Wednesday had high hopes for the bill’s passage.

All of them entered the U.S. before they were 11, brought by Mexican parents seeking work, they said.

It was their first trip to Washington and they were dressed for important meetings with senators. A meeting with Ms. Hutchison’s staff lasted about a half-hour. But Mr. Cornyn would not allow them into his office because they were not legal residents, he said.

Good for you, Sen. Cornyn. I am a legal resident AND one of your constituents — and I’ll bet I couldn’t get a private meeting in your Senate office. Why the hell should a bunch of law breaking illegal aliens have the entitlement?

Smarting from that rejection, one of the students, an 18-year-old woman, said she would have told Mr. Cornyn: “Put yourself in our shoes. Try to imagine your life as an immigrant.”

Mr. Cornyn said his staff met with Larry James and Silvia Bustos, immigration activists from Dallas who accompanied the students. But his staff would not meet with people “who admit to not being legally in the country or are here in violation of immigration laws – basically flaunting that,” Mr. Cornyn said.

Once again, I’m left to believe that Sen. Hutchinson is doing little more than trying to win Hispanic votes for her rumored bid for the Texas Governors office.

She has a lot of Hispanic-voter-pandering to catch up on…

Well that’s it for Kay the sell out with me. I will never vote for her sorry self again. This goes to show you how far and wide these people have penetrated our society..nightmare. And of course these people should have been arrested and deported..these people should not have been allowed in the senate offices, they are law breaking foreigners.!!! HELLO….I mean what kind of stupid insane world do we now live that one of our state senators did this???? And for her to meet with them, and then vote for this horrible dream act.!? Unforgivable. This dream act does not even require a person to finish any kind of schooling at all, just register for school and then drop out 3 months later..hey no harm no foul you still get everything..!!..what kind of psycho wrote this legislation? It has no teeth at all, just like all our other laws nobody enforces. Now if this required them to stay in school maintain a B+ average and actually graduate with a degree or skill set then maybe we would put you in line or towards the front of the line waiting for citizenship. But the way this sorry legislation is written now, there is no way any American with love of country would support this thing. Kay should be voted OUT of office next time she is up to send a strong message to these senators. We the people mean business, we don’t want this in any shape, form, or fashion..Get it thru your thick heads.!!!! Vote NO to Kay..

Way to be Sen. Cornyn.
Uhh…perhaps the young illegal should try putter herself in the shoes of legal citizens, if she wants to empathy to be a source of policy.

Got something you want to say?
