If President Bush — a man the Leftards claim to be dumber than a box of rocks — is smart enough to point out the obvious, why can’t the majority of Lefties see it too (uh, yeah…that’s a rhetorical question, for you kiddies playing along at home)?
President Bush once again points out the obvious:
Congress is not getting it’s work done. We’re near the end of the year and there isn’t much to show for it. The House is wasting valuable time on a constant stream of investigations and the Senate has wasted valuable time trying to pull our troops out of Iraq.
That pretty much summarizes the reason for the Lowest Congressional Approval Rating in the History of Such Ratingsâ„¢. And falling.
Of course the Democrats who are running Congress — their solution is to 1) blame Republicans for their low ratings, and 2) work a shorter work week.

You understand that the minority party is using the filibuster at an unprecedented level and this is the reason for Congressional inaction on any number of issues?
If you honestly wanted these bills to pass you would be criticizing the GOP’s obstructionist tactics- not Democratic leadership.
But, of course, that’s not really what conservatives want at all: they want to be able to blame the Democrats for not getting anything done even as they guarantee this outcome:
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!
Do I want Congress to successfully pass legislation guaranteeing retreat and defeat in Iraq?
Do I want Congress to successfully pass legislation aimed at hamstringing our military?
Do I want Congress to successfully pass legislation to impeach, censure, or condemn the Republican leadership who is trying to win the war in Iraq?
Uh. No.
If we accept your strawman legislation for the moment it suggests your initial complaints about Congress ‘wasting time’ are a tad disingenuous.
Your real complaint seems to be that Democratic majority isn’t a Republican majority.
