Not that I care a whole lot about a subjective list like this from someone living across the pond (tune in next week when I’ll rate the Top 10 Best Cab Drivers in London) — but in the latest update to their The most influential US conservatives: 21-40 list, the London Telegraph has listed Andrew Sullivan at #33.
Yeah. That Andrew Sullivan.
I’ll bet he’s at home engaging in a little gleeful self-flogging over the designation…
I didn’t believe anybody left in the world still thought Andrew Sullivan was still a conservative (I have doubts that he ever truly was).
Just because the guy says he’s a conservative — despite the fact that every word out of his pie-hole belies that statement — doesn’t make it true. Kind’a like Mickey Moore claiming that everybody in Cuba is getting world class free health care… it just ain’t so.
Of course, the Telegraph also listed life-long Democrat (with the voting record to back it up) Sen. Joe Lieberman as the #47 most influential conservative…
I can’t wait for the Top 20 list to come out. I wouldn’t be surprised to find Al Gore on it.

What about him isn’t conservative? And how does that trump what is conservative?
