Even John Murtha — if slapped often and hard enough with the truth — has to eventually begin to acknowledge that we are winning the war in Iraq:
Rep. John Murtha (D-Pa.), one of the leading anti-war voices in the House Democratic Caucus, is back from a trip to Iraq and he now says the “surge is working.” This could be a huge problem for Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and other Democratic leaders, who are blocking approval of the full $200 billion being sought by President Bush for combat operations in Iraq in 2008.
John Murtha is the face of the anti-war Democratic Party. And I don’t mean he’s just a little anti-war — this fat tub of shit is Off-The-Wall-deranged anti-war.
This ex-Marine (yes, there is such as thing, though Mr. Murtha is one of the very few) has already called the war lost and un-winnable. He’s already judged the Haditha Marines to be “cold blooded murderers”, long before their trials, and long before they have been subsequently found innocent (and he still refuses to apologize for his traitorous slander).
So will this blathering idiot give back his Code Stink award, now?
Knowing those skanks, they will demand it’s return, then set up a camp outside his office.
