A lot of folks (on the Right side of the ’sphere, at least) are writing about yesterday’s White House Press Conference where Dana Perino bitch slapped Helen Thomas:
Q [Thomas] (off mike): Why should we depend on him?
MS. PERINO: Because he’s the commander on the ground, Helen. He’s the one who is making sure that the situation –
Q (off mike): — You mean how many more people we kill?
MS. PERINO: Helen, I find it really unfortunate that you use your front-row position bestowed upon you by your colleagues to make such statements. It is an honor and a privilege to be in the briefing room, and to suggest that we as the United States are killing innocent people is just absurd and very offensive.
Q: Do you know how many we have since the start of the war?
MS. PERINO: How many — we are going after the enemy, Helen. To the extent that any innocent Iraqis have been killed, we have expressed regret for it.
Q :Well, regret it doesn’t bring back a life.
MS. PERINO: Helen, we are in a war zone, and our military works extremely hard to make sure that everyone has the opportunity for liberty and freedom and democracy, and that is exactly what they’re doing.
Q (off mike): — Oh, regret. It doesn’t bring back a life.
MS. PERINO: I’m going to move on.
Helen is the biggest joke and the biggest disgrace in all of journalism. And that’s saying something —considering Keith Olberman also calls himself a “journalist”.
There are few people as horribly afflicted with BDS as Helen Thomas. In an industry that at least pretends to be unbiased and objective — it’s long past time to fire Helen Thomas.

I have long thought that Helen Thomas is an embarrassment to the White House press corps, and that if journalism were an actual profession instead of a make-believe one it would self-police her into the back row.
She may have once been a journalist, but for quite some time she has been an apologist for the Paleostinians in Gaza and the West Bank, and nothing but a shill for terrorists and an antagonist to the President and his administration. Yep, she has no bias, because she says so, despite her actions. In fact, none of the so-called journalist have a liberal bias, despite the polls that surface after every election, that shows the huge percentage of journalist that vote for the donks. But, no, they aren’t effected by their biases when reporting, just ask this LLL reporter from PMSNBC, Erin Burnett. I continue to be underwhelmed by the self-proclaimed compassion, empathy, and tolerance of the left.
