Must read of the day is the Right Wing News’ 2nd Annul Worst Quotes from the Daily Kos.

Honestly, I don’t know how you narrow it down to just ten. As you read the lunacy, remember that The Daily Kos is the voice of the Democratic Party and the Progressive Nutroots.

The Kos hasn’t just crashed the gates, he’s now the gate keeper.

Tops on the list are the crazy (and apparently now single) woman who blames the stress of a Bush presidency for her divorce.

Or this master of logic:

“I know I’m a Jewish lesbian and (Ahmadinejad would) probably have me killed. But still, the guy speaks some blunt truths about the Bush Administration that make me swoon…

Probably have you killed? Sorry sister, there’s no “probably” about it.

And those two aren’t even in the top 5…

This one did make number 5:

If we do not wake up now and flood Congress to impeach the President and Vice President, one year from now, Daily Kos may be banned and Markos himself may be disappeared, in a federal prison somewhere.

No. This is not satire. This is not tongue-in-cheek. This idiot really believes this shit. Markos has a better chance of actually having dinner at the White House than he does of being “disappeared” by it.

And number one pretty much sums up the way that most of the Left really does feel about the men and women of our military, but are just to “polite” to say so (openly):

“But do I still support the individual men and women who have given so much to serve their country? No. I think they’re a bunch of idiots. I also think they’re morally retarded. Because they sign a contract that says they will kill whoever you tell me to kill. And that is morally retarded.

Go read them all. And then do what I do when confronted with this kind of lunacy…just shake your head and laugh at them. To live with that kind of hate and cynicism can’t be easy or good for you.

In fact it would be far worse, I am sure you would have to admit.

Not only would it show retarded derangement, it would also reveal a level of ugliness that would embarrass any decent conservative.

Speaking for myself, no…no I don’t have to and will not admit to that.
People type so some odd things in comment sections, but the Krazy Kos Kidz take the grand prize, by far.
Also, The News Buckit did a survey earlier in the year, to see if liberal or conservative blogs use the George Carlin Seven Words more often than the other. Liberals used the Seven Words more than conservatives at a rate of 18 to 1. While that doesn’t necessarily indicate how stupid the comments on liberal blogs are, it gives a strong indication of their limited intellectual capacity and communication skills, as well as poor emotional self-restraint, and a lack of civility.
Good luck with those unfounded assertions, though.

If you scoured a bunch of conservative blogs, sure you could absolutely come up with a bunch of idiocy. Hell, I’ve written some pretty divisive and at times stupid shit here.

But a big difference is that there is not a single conservative blog that plays as prominent a role in GOP politics as the Kos site does in Democratic politics.

As Cassy at Wizbang notes:

Markos Moulitsas is one of the most powerful players in politics today. Democratic politicians regularly write for Daily Kos, and the Democratic presidential candidates couldn’t get to the 2007 Yearly Kos convention fast enough.

There’s simply not a GOP blog that meets those same criteria. It’s one thing for me to write some stupid shit. It’s quite another to have mainstream politics beating down your door to side with your idiocy.
