Just one more reason we need to substantially beef up border security:
SAN DIEGO — The Border Patrol says its agents were attacked nearly 1,000 times during a one-year period along the Mexican border, typically by assailants hurling rocks, bottles and bricks. Now the agency is responding with tear gas and powerful, pepper-spray weapons, including firing into Mexico.
Tear gas and pepper spray? These guys lives are being endangered by thugs trying to sneak into our country. What we need on our border are heavily armed agents and Army National Guards soldiers.
And they should be shooting to kill.
