From my blog last December:
Following the lead of Sgt Hook (who in turn was following the lead of the Downtown Chick) by going back through the archives of 2006 and picking one post for each month I think worth re-visiting or that defined the mood for that month.
Here’s my blog roundup for this year:
- January — Ten Myths of the Iraq War — with undeniable successes in the Iraq War, it’s important to look back to the beginning of the year to see where “they” stood back then.
- February — Amanda Marcotte F*cking Resigns from Edwards F*cking Campaign — important as a barometer for both how insane Nutroots bloggers can be, and how big of a role they play in pulling the stings of Lefty candidates.
- March — Democrats Break Another Campaign Promise — this would be a trend by year’s end.
- April — 32 Dead in Virginia Tech Shooting Rampage — without a doubt, this was the biggest story of April, and set the mood for almost every other event and story.
- May — Ron Paul Blames America for 9-11 Attacks — the start of reason why Ron Paul will never be President of this country.
- June — Paris Hilton a Free Woman. Again. — Nothing dominated the news this year like the saga of Paris Hilton did.
- July — Haditha Marine Cleared by Investigator — this story speaks volumes about the lack of integrity and honesty from Rep. John Murtha, who still has yet to issue an apology to the Marines he slandered.
- August — Another Illegal Alien Kills Another American Family — because a lot of the illegals coming over here aren’t simply “looking for a better life”. This can’t be repeated loud enough or often enough.
- September — The Petraeus Report on Iraq — Gen. Patraeus was right. The left was wrong. So they slandered him.
- October — Republican Bobby Jindal Elected as Louisiana Governor — this will turn out to be a much, much bigger story next year, after Jindal takes office, then people might realize now.
- November — Americans Are Disgusted with Democratic Congress — After a year of complete ineffectiveness, broken promises, the Democrats are the lowest rated Congress. EVAH.
- December — Border Agents Attacked Nearly 1000 Times Last Year — Because immigration, more than any other issue, is why Republicans will rebound in 2008.

I hope you and all your readers will back Lt. Col. William Russell in his strong campaign against John Murtha. You can find Russell’s web site at: http://williamrussellforcongress.com. I’ve written more than 20 pieces (yikes!) on the Russell-Murtha race. We’re assembling a huge group of bloggers 4 Russell, and that’s helping turning this into a nationally significant race. I’m at: http://camp2008victorya.blogspot.com. Merry Christmas to all.
