There’s a huge blogburst for the Fred Thompson campaign going on today — and a lot of bloggers that I like and respect are joining in:

Right Wing Nut House, BobKrumm.com, Wake up America, Classical Values, The Discerning Texan, Stop The ACLU, Flopping Aces, Cold Fury and The Sundries Shack

They’re trying to raise enough money before tomorrow so that Fred Thompson can get this television ad aired in Iowa:

Fred Thompson is the one true conservative in this Presidential race, and the man I most hope wins the GOP nomination. Which is why I have already contributed what I can to his campaign, and would urge other true Conservatives to do the same thing (link to Fred Thompson campaign contribution Web site).

One Response to “Fred Thompson Blogburst”

I was all for Fred getting in the race, despite some of his troubling votes while he was in the Senate. I kept waiting and waiting and waiting for him to get in the race, then he said he was in, but I am still waiting.
He is out of money, and without a huge injection of cash, he is done before Super Tuesday. I have also become concerned about his memory lapses, i.e., a few weeks ago he was being interviewed and was discussing the problems with the Iranian Mullahocracy, and he referred to Russia as the Soviet Union; he didn’t know his home state had suspended lethal injections for a court review; he claimed Judge Roberts confirmation for Chief Justice(who Fred shepherded through the process) was done in a Democrat controlled Senate.(?) Maybe there is a reason the big bucks haven’t found their way into his campaign.

Got something you want to say?
