UPDATE — OK, so I’m an idiot once again today. Didn’t realize that the site I linked to in the below story is a parody site. I told you I couldn’t believe Obama really said that…

In that case, that’s some funny stuff…

____________-

So first Hillary said that it took a President to accomplish what Martin Luther King dreamed about.

Now Barack Obama has fired back, stating that it took men to give women the right to vote:

“The 19th Amendment to the Constitution grants women the right to vote,” said Sen. Obama, “and while women, like Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton, marched, and spoke and held inspirational rallies, ultimately it took men in 36 state legislatures to fulfill that dream.”

First of all. Wow. I can’t believe he really said that. Way to play right into Hillary’s hands, Barack.

And second, since we’re using this kind of idiotic logic and rhetoric, here’s one right back at you Barack:

“While black men like David Walker, Henry Highland Garnet, and Frederick Douglass contributed and shaped the abolitionist movement in Antebellum America, it took a bunch of white men to finally end slavery and free the black man.”

See how stupid this game is?
