I work for a City and am a female fire fighter also. I have been in bikini races at a local ski hill, was on the news and everything. Except, I got support from my town, including my boss coming to watch. I even wore my fire department bunker gear with just a swimsuit top, my badge, and my helmet, in one race! The local's were pumped, not thinking I was a bad role model, and we (the department) got donations! Come on people! What people do is their own time is their own business. Let me see, is she professional in her job? Isn't that what matters! For cripes sakes leave the woman and her family alone, chances are, all the people upset/disgusted are only jealous! I understand there is professionalism in all aspects, but wouldn’t it be a lot worse if she was naked.
