I cannot believe this happened. Yes, another 'I knew him' person commenting here. I have not spoken to him in years but I knew the timeline of the events that took place. I am sure he was sorry for what he did and I'm sure he turned to God the moment he realized what he did wrong. However, he did kill someone. I still cannot contemplate how he managed to do so. He was sorry for this crime and I read how he begged to be removed from death row. He knew the consequences before he committed the crime. This is reality. He was well aware of the law. He was in and out of trouble through his life. I'm sad his life ended in such tragedy. I'm sad he acted out in so much anger that day the office arrived to his house. I am sad it had to take something so tragic to happen in order for him to realize his behavior was unacceptable and he needed to change. My prayers are with his family. He was a tough boy to raise. I know what he put his mother through but I know how much he loved her. He was an average kid at one point but continued down the wrong path of behavior towards the point of no return. He was smart. That's a true statement and he had academic scores to prove it. I am just sorry he forgot that and chose drugs and juvenile behavior as a lifestyle.
