The 71st Star of Texas Rodeo starts here in Austin in March, and today they announced their musical lineup (tickets go on sale Friday):

- 3/8: Miranda Lambert
- 3/9: George Jones
- 3/10: Natasha Bedingfield
- 3/11: Clay Walker
- 3/12: Joe Nichols
- 3/13: Jason Aldean
- 3/14: Sean Kingston
- 3/15: Kevin Fowler
Decent lineup. Of the listed artists, I’ll probably only go see Gretchen Wilson and Miranda Lambert, though if I might go catch Willie, too (though March 4 is the Texas presidential primary).

UPDATE (Jan 18)
Just purchased my tickets for the rodeo and to see Gretchen Wilson on March 3. We got good reserved box seats right next to the bucking chute (great seats for the bull riding events). Tickets for the rodeo + concert were only $35 each.
Now I just have to talk my wife into going with me.
