How Does One Become a UFO Expert?

I briefly mentioned that a bunch of folks in Stephenville, TX reported seeing a UFO last week. This related headline today cracked me up:

UFO “experts”? How exactly does one become an expert in something that doesn’t exist? That’s like being an expert on “Liberals who hate something-for-nothing welfare programs” (/flame suit). Or an expert on “Hippies who don’t hate America”…

Indeed, the group does not pretend to have a handle on alien technology, said Robert Powell, a director of research for Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) who came from Austin to help the investigation.

And why don’t they have a handle on “alien technology”? I’m going to go out on a limb and say because, “There isn’t any!”.
