After I got home from the pre-debate rally on campus, I sat down and watched the debate. Only two things to mention here:
1) Hillary didn’t officially concede last night, but she laid the ground work for her March 5 concession speech when she does bow out. She’s done. Hillary wouldn’t repeat last night that she doesn’t believe that Barack is unqualified to be the next Commander in Chief (he is unqualified), because she knows that her statement would be in a John McCain ad by today.
2) Barack Obama said that our troops in Afghanistan have resorted to using Tal-eee-bahn (yes, that’s how he pronounced it) weapons because they don’t have enough of their own. Which, of course is total bullshit. We are not using rocks and Ak-47s picked up off the streets to fight the Tal-eee-bhan. US troops, as a matter of procedure do confiscate any enemy weapons that they recover, but we don’t turn around and re-use them. Perhaps if Barack had ever served in an infantry unit — or any armed services unit — he’d know how stupid what he just said was.
However, if he would like to ensure our troops are better armed, that’s fine — quit threatening and voting to defund the war, then, asshole.

Neither of them defended English as the official language of this country.
Both of them spent the entire immigration part of the debate pandering to Hispanics - all of a sudden the border fence is terrible, we need to stop the raids, citizenship for all.
I’m surprised they didn’t say the official language of the US should be changed to Spanish.
